Slow News Day 018

Hi kids!
Corona virus is still going strong. Mask, no mask. Shelter in place, get fresh air in open places. Social distance, blah, blah, blah.
Hey! This happened before!
No, not the 1918 Spanish Flu. A little further back. 1347-1351 was worst cases in Europe. Killed 1/3 of the population. It's still not safe! The World Health Organization reports 1,000 to 3,000 cases of plague worldwide every year.

I see a red door and would see it painted black.
No colours no more, I want it to turn black.

its all about control. government control. sadly here in Canada everyone is handing over their freedoms on silver plate just so they can be "safe" on top of that spineless liberals just banned 1500 type of firearms , a minority gov that just passed law without parliament , the son of fidel communist castro is at it.. this is so we can all sit down helpless while leechers and far left block roads and burn business uninterrupted .
Canada may be fortunate.
I live in rural Missouri, northern Ozarks. People around here are used to sitting in a tree waiting for something to shoot. If stupid govt can't control this the option may be taken out of their hands. Hope it doesn't come to that. 😕
vote Trump
1347 was that generations 2020. Change my mind.

Hey! That's a good video. I've been watching a lot of that channel's Ye Olde Timey covers recently.
Plus ça change, plus c'est pareil.
What I find funny about the plague is that one of the places it keeps popping up is Arizona. I've never been and don't have much of a preconceived notion of the place but I guess I'll have to start thinking of it as a place where eating roadkill is still somewhat popular.
It's weird because hot temperature supposedly kills the virus, and it's constantly 40+ Celsius in Arizona. But there's also data which suggests low humidity causes aerosols to travel more through the air, reason being high humidity causes the virus in aerosol to cling to water droplets and sink to the ground quicker.
Anyways, I hope the US solves this quickly. School's about to open nationwide in a week.
