Slovakian Donation Proposal

Over the past day, Artur Fabre, president of Slovakia, and I have been discussing the possibility of donating a small portion of our SKK to their country. They have no national currency within their treasury, and as such, no way to pay employees, purchase food, or otherwise start up an economy. Artur and I decided, that in order to remedy this, our government would donate a modest amount of 10 000 SKK to an organization run by the government.
The plans have been made, and all we need now, is the people's approval. If a congressman could create a proposal to donate 10 000 SKK to Slovak National Council - Slov, their country would greatly appreciate it.
Our Slovakian neighbours were once members of our nation, and as such, we will continue to treat them as such in times of need.

Radim, would you care to elaborate on why you disagree? I'm open to suggestions if you can think of another way to deal with Slovakia's problem.
I think we should loan money or give it for something. I was sending tens of gifts to Slovaks but state interest should be above.

Radim, we have the ability to make our relations with Slovakia concrete and you oppose?
It's within the state's interest. They just need something to get them started. If we don't give them money, we won't be able to sell the rest of the money we do have.
Parrot, Artur Fabre is one of the most honest people who I have met here, Baci, Volodaa and some others are also great people. But we have not any guarantee that in future Slovakia will not be threat, they should be removed. I know that it sound like realpolitik, I know thats sound cynical and horrible, but we shouldnt giving state money only because friendship and some vague economical possibilites, Slovaks need SVKs and we should make more profit.
Personaly I would be for some contract. Of course, if you will decide only donate I will vote yes, because Slovakia is second homeland, but I suggest more rational solution.
I don´t agree, because we can´t trought our money to the window. When have Slovaks their country, they must have enought money to all operation.
Red Duck, I agree that a more rational solution would be more appealing. However the way I see it, by sending this money to their nation, we will be able to export our products there. As they lack companies, we will have a monopoly of sorts, so any food we export to them, any houses we sell in their nation, and any gifts they purchase from us, will bring the money back into our hands.
Don't we have a tremendous amount of SKK sitting in our treasury? Why not give them some to burn or whatever?
If we have a large surplus of SKK, why wouldn't we use it for something that could prove useful in the long run?
I am a bit disappointed with the stance of some of you. In fact, we need not only those 10 000 SKK, but all 70 000 SKK you have. I know you are not satisfied with that, but we need all our money back to start off the currency reform. We hoped it won't be a problem for you to do so. Those money are very needed for us. So, please, do not break the good relations we have.
The reason we're holding back the other 60,000 SKK is because that's basically all the money we have. Right now, we're dangerously low on gold, and we'll need to exchange that to make sure our nation survives. If ten thousand doesn't work out, we can send more.

The basic problem is, that we have some money, but in YOUR treasury. I think, that there could be a little amount for reparations for April attacks, but don´t forget, that money is our... no offence just talking...
Baci, I'm the one who told the Czech Republic to pay for your war. I'm the one who collected the names of Slovakian liberators and posted them so locals could gift them. Don't lash out at me; I've worked to create policy to help your country.
But, allow me to defend this policy.
Right now, you have 70 citizens. We're giving you 10,000 SKK. Now, think of this: if we give you more money than you can spend right now, your currency will inflate and be worthless. If we give you 10,000, your money will be worth something, unlike the CZK. It'll be worth a good sum of gold; 7x more than it would if we dumped 60,000 more out.
Furthermore, we can't be so selfless with our treasury as to bankrupt ourselves. Right now, we only have enough money to extend our MPPs with one nation in half a month. Right now, we have a lot more than one. We need money. If we don't, we ourselves might not have the funds to prevent invasion.
Lastly, this is a temporary solution. Remember, the admins are going to augment money issuing very soon. So, you'll be able to produce your own money in a bit.
For now though, 10,000 should be enough. If you have any problems, please don't lash out at me; I've done only good for you and given only good will. Lash out at the people are against the 10,000. I've only had good will for you.
I personally think that we should go ahead with this resolution. Give them the money to use at their will, but in order to make this investment more worth something, set up a time period for it too be paid back when they are set up well. If we are lucky we could even get some interest back. Think of it as liquid capital. We invest now and it's sort of like a bank that holds that permanently until we need it. And if they in the allotted time have not payed us back then the retribution shall be the conquest of their country in return for what we lost. Praise be Allah, I think my plan would be beneficial to both countries.
Abdul, I agree with you on a few points, however I do not believe that threat of conquest is a viable option in this situation. We wish to build relations between our countries, and actions such as these would only be detrimental.
I agree with the donation but it needs to come with a caveat.
For them to recieve such a donation they need to sign a concrete pact such as removing tarrifs,cooperation economically and militarily and also the President's need to meet so they can discuss a common foreign policy. A donation with no strings attached doesn't do us any good.
What about an official Pole-Czech-Slovak alliance?

Parrot - this our and only our thing; dont worry about our inflation - we wont give all money into circulation, we will have all money covered by Gold - and thats why those 60 000 SKK are problem - we dont know, if they wont get to bad hands - and if there wont be 60 000 of uncovered SKK in circulation!!! that would be real inflation and real catastrophee!
The real issue is as parrot mentioned before, we're hardly the wealthiest nation on earth so we cannot give away all SKK, we are a nation not a charity.
I think its high time the Slovaks started some discussion on the acceptance of 10k and building stronger ties rather than clamour for more money, beggars cant be choosers im sorry
i guess you dont know how we gained that amount of money, we gained it when we anexed slovakia after the war, so that money is not ours and cz should give it all to slovakia and not only 10k
