Silly Rabbit, (Dirty) Tricks are for Peace!!

When I first started this newspaper I wrote articles about not giving up. I urged eMericans everywhere to help one another to step up to the call of our leaders. My theme has been we must deserve victory more than our enemies. In researching this war I have come to understand we technically started it. We invaded Mexico, Portugal, France, and Russia. Near as I can tell we did this for the fun of it more than anything. We did not go on these offensives out of any sense of malice. It also is clear we never at any time wiped a nation off the map. As I was not a player during that time I will not dwell on it too much.
I have been playing this game for 6 weeks now. In that short time I have seen much that is good and praiseworthy. I have also seen much that is despicable and low handed. Peace has demonstrated to me that they clearly are the "bad guys" in this conflict. Their actions have included but are not limited to the following:
Agreeing to a peace treaty that Emerick negotiated and hammered out in good faith, and then reneging on the deal out of greed. Luring the eUK to turn on their former friends and then watched as the prize for their betrayal was taken from them without lifting a finger to help. Violating our treaty with Mexico to bring in Colombia so that Russia can hang on to their "conquests" a little longer. Running seemingly patriotic ads to confuse the gullible, noobs, stubborn, and misguided into ignoring DoD orders. This move cost us the chance to finish the job of throwing the Russians out. Setting up companies intended to lure in new players and starve them to death before they can even get started.
By contrast I have seen in Fortis/Eden, nations that have risen from the ashes of destruction to drive out their invaders. I have seen citizens giving everything they have to help their country and their allies. Canada, Spain, and Greece have been absolutely amazing. My respect for Canada and her people have grown immeasurably since playing this game. Their unselfish blocking of Russia to buy us time to finish off Indonesia, and now their blocking of Hungary to do the same with Russia, has been inspiring to see.
In short it is my belief while Peace may have initially been driving out an invader and punishing an aggressor they have allowed themselves to become far worse than we and our allies ever were. They are intent on grinding our faces into the ground, and they are willing to do anything to make that happen. Let us continue to help, honor, and support one another. Their are few conflicts over the course of history that are so obvious as who the "good and bad guys" are. This is one of them.
I feel confident in declaring: WE DESERVE VICTORY!!!!!!

This is actually a Romanian invention, used first against Hungary. There were times when you had to search over 3 pages in the Hungarian job market, for any given skill, to find a true one.
We offered a NAP regarding this tactic weeks ago to both Canada and the US, since unlike any other tactic, it is hurting those who can not protect themselves, due to limited knowledge of the game. Canada accepted it (we even have a link to the Canadian forums in our welcome message as part of the deal), the US has refused the same offer. Ask you leaders why they didn't accept it.

I just reacted to the claim that it is a PEACE invention.
In the present both sides are using this dirty tactic. At least 2 countries have shown that they do not want to use unless forced, that being Canada and Hungary.
I do understand that renegade citizens might use it, and governments can not control them, but insisting on maintaining state run ones is just bad. Noobs should get to learn the game, why kill them off on their first day?
There are no good guys and bad guys, this is only a game. In your point PEACE will be always bad guys, but in my point ex-Atlantis will be the bad guys. But there are many things wrong you wrote, e. g. the reason eUSA haven't wiped out any countries of the map, that eUSA failed to do it, you almost succeed in Mexico and in France too, but you failed. In the other hand, PEACE always liberated later all the countries that occupied. And anyway I think there was only one country which didn't deserve PEACE's attack, and it is Greece.

The only thing PEACE can be viewed worse than ex-Atlantis is the recent successes of PEACE. You did the same with us, and you would do the same with us if you could. I will never forget what you and your allies did and tried to do against us.

nice to see that the Peace trolls are out and about. You guys play dirty and low end of story sometimes the truth stings but it down not make it any less true.

Moot, let's play a game of siskakbab. I will not tell you what that is, you will find next to no real info about it because the game developers will not give it to you. If you are really interested, you might learn it, bit what percentage of users is really interested in playing something were they are tricked over and over again from the beginning?
Playing "dirty" is ok with high level players, not with noobs.
@Tyler Buublar: if all you can scream is troll, you won't get far here, that i garantee. The US had to learn this the hard way.
Anyhow, want to know some real dirty trick?
- registering small level characters, and sending nazi pictures with your fellow nationals being behaded to the leaders and high level players of your country in order to ban (some will react, it is just natural)
- sending somebody a big amount of gold, and reporting him for scaming, since he had not delivered the house you "agreed" on
- registering small level players, take them to level 6 and get 5 gold, buying the money off the market a high level player/rich org has posted in order to evade taxes; report the player/org involved for multi accounting (or do the same by simple donations)
- posting ads in comments in real life newspapers, about "here you can spill the blood of (insert PEACE nation name) children", in order to attract rigth-wing extremists

you bviously misread me at what point did I claim it was a PEace ionvention to starve noobs? the fact you consider it low but still use it says a lot about you. as far as me "screaming" troll a troll is a troll is a troll. and it is nice to see you out and about.
I cannot speak for the other allegations you just made as I said I am new still, however make no mistake about it I will give it my all NOW to fight off the invaders who want nothing better than to destory me my country and the freedom for which it stands.
Yeah I was just seeing if you were trolling or not, I think the idea of the trap-company should be internationally banned and even punishable by forfeit points as with each quitting player is potential lost money.
I agree Moot it is something tha i Have seen suggested as retaliation in the forums for Peace's recent incursions. I am against it completely. This game can be a lot of fun snuffing that out before they even get started regardless of alliance or nation is just wrong.
Trap-companys should not exist, and anyone creating/using them should be warned, and then banned. But then, the same people using them probably have no compulsion against multis either would they?
Stopping trap companies is rather simple: don't allow companies to post work ads if they do not have money to pay them, or resources to work with.
As a side note, i reported this as abusing a bug the second day it appeared. I haven't received any answer, others doing so even received warnings for reporting it. So don't expect a fix very soon.

I also understand we started this. I can however say we have learned a lot from this. Game mechanics and unity for one. The mere suggestion of going back on the offensive after reclaiming our original 51 is shouted down. Eden/Fortis is in a rebuilding mode simple as that we wish to rebuild our infrastructure and our economies no more no less.
Both sides do things they regret in the name of victory.
All I'm going to say further is that there's a reason the saying goes, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", rather than "do unto others as they have done unto you". Or, to use another semi-famous quote, "take an eye for an eye too many times, and the whole world will be blind".

America declaring war on Portugal was Spain's idea.
America declaring war on France was Spain's idea.
America declaring war on Russia was Romania's idea.
America declaring war on Mexico... OK, that one was our bad. Or more specifically, Uncle Sam's bad. It was not an idea really supported by the American people who were only asking for a Training War, not a real war.
America is now reaping the rewards of letting itself become a pawn of ATLANTIS as it was subverted by Spain and Romania. America supported these two countries despirte the dirty tricks they used like PTOs and using game bugs to clone Gold. America is reaping the rewards of poor leadership. These wars were all failures because Congress would not give the eUSA Military the financial support they needed to win.
And just in case you're wondering, I am not a PEACE troll. I am an otherwise patriotic American who has over these past months examined eAmerica's actions, and have lost faith. And I fight to defend the land of my birth despite never liking anything the eMerican leadership has done.
i find it kinda funny. all this argueing about trolling and such. and yet we seem to be bickering with eachother over whether PEACE or FORTIS/EDIN is better. in reality i think that this is a stalemate. a war that will never end, and that in the end since the fighting is going on almost exclusively in eUSA eventually all the constant players will be lvl 18+.
if we are able to force russia out of eUSA then we will be able to live in peace(not under occupation but without war). due to the fact that eUSA is gonna by the end of this be a powerful country and able to help defend her allies against anything. we only need to get the war out of america, but even then the war will still be a stalemate because of the fact that no-one will really be able to do much because of MPPs.
