Shame About the PTO
Stefan1992
Before I start, I want to thank the members of the Dharma Initiative for saying No to corruption and Yes to democracy. While we may be a small party, we have doubled in size during the period of a month, making us the fastest growing party. People are beginning to understand the importance of democracy, and how DI gives people the opportunity to voice their opinions.
Unfortunately, there are some people who don’t want people to enjoy the benefits of democracy, and silence those who want to live in a society where everyone is treated fairly. At least two parties have been targeted by PTOers: the DI and the RFA by temjujin94 and McAfee01 respectively. What do these people have in common? They are both members of The Unity Party. I had closely monitored the election at the Dharma Initiative, and have spotted other members of TUP join the party just to vote for the PTOer and then leave. Luckily, our party was big enough to defend ourselves against this disgusting threat. RFA was not so lucky. I am shocked and appalled at these actions, along with much of the eUK community.
Meanwhile, TUP’s PP election has brought back perhaps the most elite member of TUP to the top position of their party. I am tempted to consider this latest article propaganda, but it’s more than that. It is simply lies. Let’s look at what TUP “promises” and then the facts.
According to TUP, they say:
•No to elitism.
•No to behind-closed doors deals and backhanders.
•No to corruption and vote buying.
•Yes to supporting young players.
Now let’s look at the facts.
•Fact: TUP is run by elites, as seen in Iain Keers’ election. Other credible candidates ran who are not considered elite, but Keers wanted all the power to himself.
•Fact: The decisions made by TUP are made by their elite. They don’t believe the opinion of two-clickers is even worth considering.
•Fact: The recent PTO attempts are one of many instances of corruption.
•Fact: They do give out candy to young players, only in hopes of using them as voters to push their elitist agenda and nothing more.
I was a part of TUP for over two years. I have seen how the party works, and how they have ultimately betrayed the people. To repeat what I have said in the past, I left the party as they had reached a point in which the elites adamantly refused to give power to the people. I did everything possible to stop that from happening, but instead, the party collapsed under the weight of its own greed. In recent times, we have seen TUP become more and more desperate to hold onto some power, but I never would have thought they would attempt to PTO other parties. It is a disgrace to the community to see them attack innocent people for their own benefit. We have seen in recent weeks in the media an increasing amount of people revealing the truth, which is that The Unity Party is a party of elites, and not a party for the people. These latest events only make that fact more clear.

Oh lol...
Mcafee is no longer a member of TUP and I did it for lulz with BBH
Hence why I only got 4 votes and you still have a party
Jacob is very angry for this
v
if TUP wanted to PTO your party, there would indeed be more than 4 votes. Paranoïa !
somebody is still butthurt.
You're the same age as me Stefan, so if being old makes you elitist, then you are too 🙂
While I applaud you keeping your party, you're not quite the fastest growing party. ; )
If I recall, you didn't leave, you were kicked out for abuse.
"Fact: TUP is run by elites, as seen in Iain Keers’ election. Other credible candidates ran who are not considered elite, but Keers wanted all the power to himself."
Iain was the only candidate who bothered to PM me, the only one I remember writing any articles and the only candidate most of the electorate have ever heard of. If he's considered elite then that may be because he has (to the general TUP member's knowledge) done more than all of the other candidates put together.
Renovation in politics?
That's exactly what I want to hear!!
Voted
Now that I've seen the responses, I'll reply to some of what has been mentioned.
@temujin94: BBH did not answer your call, although as I mentioned, several people from TUP voted for you.
@Iain Keers: You do realise there is a difference between experience and elitism. Try not to compare apples to oranges.
@Dishmcds: DI has doubled in size over a month. So in regards to percentage, it is the fastest growing party.
@jamesw: The only abuse was committed by TUP.
@daniecox: There was other TUP PP candidates that wrote manifestos, although I cannot confirm what messages were or were not sent.
The point is I can't remember them
McAfee doesn't PTO, he improves.
The TUP is a partiy of elites
I too like coffee.
