Seven virtues of Bushidō

Hello, since I am studying political sience on Belgrade university, I have many connections with all diferent kinds of culture, way of living, and moral obligations from the literature. One of the things that specifically keeps my attention is Bushidō (the way of the warrior) which has been used by Samurai in medieval Japan. And every day, I am trying to respect as much as i can of this 7 good virtues and how i see them):


1: Righteousness - Act with people how they deserve it, not how we wan't or how someone told us that we must...

2: Courage - Be able to confront any problem and act rightly whatever it takes, what ever are the consequences.

3: Charity - Giving to less fortunate, and not expecting anything in return.

4: Respect - A positive feeling about every single thing in the world, expecialy for the people from diferent country, diferent religion, diferent culture.

5: Honesty - Being honest is very hard, expecialy in this game, it originally means that people must behave with integrity, truthfulness and straightforwardness along with the absence of lying, cheating or theft.

6: Honour - Keep earned trust, honesty, respect, and never allow somebody or something to distract you, take away your dignity, and make you dishonorable.

7: Loyalty - Loyalty is faithfulness or a devotion to a person, country, group, or cause.



My english is in little trouble, but I am looking forward to improve it! 😃
