Serbian MoFA on the RA topic

I've been asked to make public the Serbian government opinion on this topic, and thus I've written this article, a declaration, a manifesto, whatever you prefer to call it.

Quite a lot of time passed since the Spanish supported by their EDEN buddies occupied France. After the Lyne Faynel fiasco and PEACE dismemberment, France wasn't regarded as our most trustworthy ally but I, personally always had some sympathy for the French cause, because i knew how it was to see you country occupied and weak.

However a lot of things change since then, and Phoenix together with Entente liberated French territories, and driven out Spaniards and Poles out of France. Allthough I, as said previously, always had sympathy for the French, even when some Serbians were supportive for Spanish occupation, as they felt betrayed by France, i lobbied and had written articles to liberate France.

Now after everything Serbia and Phoenix has done for it, France greatly disappointed me.

Simply insane tolls on the rent of RA are ludicrous and unbelievable.

3x 1600 gold for a High wood region, and countless other tolls for a 3 month rent. Seriously is that how allies treat allies?

Phoenix spent at least 6000 gold to liberate RA and AQ (not counting other regions and swaps) and you guys are asking for more money that has been spent.

But where would be France now without it's allies in Phoenix?

For obvious reasons, I think that you guys would be learning Spanish and Polish if there wasn't for PHX. Someone would say that this is arrogant, but I assure you it is not, as much as you deny it, it is clear that there would be no France if Phoenix didn't liberate it. The costs that Phoenix had in operations of liberating France were incredibly large. I doubt that there would be any France, if there wasn't for Phoenix, so learning how to discuss deals with your allies and as montaigne said, learning to make compromises, should be the no.1 priority of France. It is easy to be greedy and self-righteous when you France is liberated entirely, with only one nation in control of one region, and that nation being an ally of France.

As i see it, Hungary isn't asking for a gratitude deal, or free rent of RA forever. No. They are asking for a fair and honest deal, the kind of a deal that is made between allies and friends.

I've helped France numerous times, as much as i could. I donated all of my savings (~30 gold) when you were down to 1 region , I lobbied in Serbia to defend France when the Spaniards attacked, but now the French government is wrong.

This is no time to be selfish and greedy.

France can be angry with everyone around them, but you should ask yourselves, if everyone is mad at you, is it problem with them, or with you?

Think about it, and hopefully everyone will resolve this issue normally and friendly.
