Savoring England - A lot of Talk

Savoring England
Gaius Julius's term is drawing to a close, he has stated that he has some goals he wants to reach before ending his presidency. As I read his list of objectives something caught my attention, "Invade England", as I read those two wonderful words my heart skipped a beat. Joy, relief, excitement, it all overtook me at once. If there is one country I would pay to visit its England. As most are aware, England betrayed us in our darkest hour. Without hesitation or remorse they bought into the lie that is PEACE. They left us out to dry, it was evident that war was imminent, a storm was coming and right before it hit, they jumped ship.

What angered me the most was that we couldn't do anything about it, we where having a tough time just holding on to our territories. All we could do was vent our frustration and make our threats. England pulled a fast one and there where no consequences for them. With our hands full England mocked us and laughed at our threats, they hid behind PEACE and their offensive in North America. All that has changed, we have taken back all that was lost, we are stronger, united, committed. Our armed forces are unmatched, only Hungary can put up a fight. I long for the day I get to put my boots on English soil, how satisfying that day will be. Ill savor every minute of it, I wont overlook any details, will be sure to take full advantage and savor every battle fought in England.

My only regret will be the time it will take to annihilate England. England has no real army to speak of. Their defenses are built on sand their soldiers few and poorly trained. We will barely be able to call it a war, more like a skirmish. England's only hope is that PEACE will come to their rescue. However PEACE has their own problems. Hungary has lost 3 major battles and needs to be at the ready in case their high resource regions in Asia are threatened, Indonesia is in full retreat both economically and in terms of population. Iran...well Iran is incompetent. Russia is struggling with internal turmoil and is hesitant about any conflict after a series of loses in the Scandinavian region. That leaves England by itself, alone and oh so vulnerable. Even if PEACE manages to put some form of defense up, victory is certain. Cherish every minute of it, revenge will be sweet but far too quick.

A lot of Talk
I hear allot of talk lately, most coming from PEACE nations. After a recent ridiculous Iranian article all we hear from Russia is "bring it on Yankee". Seriously? Russia? Who would want to invade that hole on the ground? From England we hear "I dare you to invade". Again, Seriously? What could possibly deter us from invading England? You can’t even call it an invasion, it’s more like a vacation, a break from real fighting, just another training battle. Rather it’s directly or indirectly we WILL invade England, looking forwards to it. The funny thing is that so much crap is being said and the people saying it couldn’t possibly back their words up. It’s not a question anymore, it’s not up for debate, PEACE is declining and the free world is back on top, this time to stay. Indo can barely stand on its own, the internal corrosion that has taken effect is amazing. Indo is retreating on all fronts, territories, population, economy, world influence. PEACE has effectively lost one of its top 3 strongmen. Only Hungary and Russia are getting by.

The lack of battles has formed the once vibrant Russian economy into a lethargic and unresponsive one. Training wars have had little and short lived effect on the Russian economy. Russian leadership has become divided, some favoring war other a form of neutrality. Consequently the Russian president has faced numerous impeachment attempts, often coming close to being thrown out of office. Hungary is a bit more organized and united, little internal problems (at least on the surface) has been seen. However that has not prevented them from losing 3 major consecutive battles. They are no longer seen as the furious war machine of old.

For those who are into RL history you might remember the Island Hopping strategy the US adopted in the pacific theater during WW2. Basically it’s ignoring the less valuable targets, picking and choosing the most important enemy stronghold, liberating it and moving on to the next one. This same strategy is being pursued by EDEN/Broliance. India, Belgium, Australia, have all benefited from RWs fought to take from PEACE their most prized regions. We are systematically setting fire to PEACE's colonial territories. The tides of war have turned against PEACE, in fact the tides turned a long time ago, despite some serious effort and some valiant defenses the tides continue to be against PEACE, it’s only a matter of time before PEACE has to come to terms with reality and admit complete military failure and consequently surrender to the free world.

Editor's Corner - Strengthen Individuals and Families
It is often said, and it is usually true, that the whole is greater than the sum of the individual pieces. In the case of a country, it is equally true that the stronger the families and individuals within that country, the stronger the country. That is what the actions in this section are about - actions that help individuals believe in themselves and actions that help families enable individual growth.
