Greetings once again my fellow Norwegian, Finnish, and Russian brothers and sisters.

Our country today is faced with a problem, the magnitude of which, has never been seen by our great nation before. For the first time in its history, eNorway seems to spiraling towards the potential of a legitimate civil war. The popular opinion of the country is swinging more and towards support of a separation of our republic; the product of the pride and devotion of every hard working man and woman over the course of the history of our nations'.

It is in these turbulent times that we have the responsibility to set our differences aside and unite together for the good of the nation, and allow cooler heads to prevail amidst the turmoil. What Norway needs today is a strong candidate that can bring us together under the banner of unity.

It is for this reason that I am personally announcing that I will push forward with my candidacy for the Norwegian\Finnish\Russian presidency. I have made it very clear in my words and hopefully through my actions during my tenure as President of the Golden Party that my intentions have always been seeking unity and cooperation in modern day politics. It is my view that my candidacy will give Norway the best chance of success in the general elections, and in the coming month.

To quote myself from a speech I've made some time ago, I feel that "All too often we all share the same goals, but they are lost in the name of partisan politics and in petty feuds long since past. Its time to return to civilized debate. Its time to give each other a clean slate and return to our number one priority, making a better, more prosperous nation."

So the question on everyone's minds is, "What do you intend to do about the Finnish bid for independence". Well, as I've recently been reported as say, it is my belief that our brothers in the east deserve the same rights and respect that we ourselves in norwegian provinces do. It is ludicrous to believe because of a war, one of which several of these new members of our society did not even have the possibility to participate in, that incoming Finnish nationals should feel inclined to accept a role which they see as subservient to a hostile power. It is also not appropriate to assume that the hard working Finnish patriots that came before you and wish to remain apart of the society that they have work so hard to contribute to, are less entitled to their rights in this nation.

Regardless of the length of your tenure in this country, as a citizen of Norway you have a right to have your voice heard. The numbers of the Finnish minority have swelled to by far their highest levels ever, and your message is clear. It is therefore my view that a compromise can and should be reached regarding the independence of Finland. My administration does not view violence as an acceptable alternative to negotiation and compromise.

Over the course of the next month I would like to exhaust every effort to bring as much negotiation and understanding to the table as possible before any rash decisions are made to break up the bonds and brotherhood that has existed between our countries for many months. If after a degree of understanding has been reached, it is the will of the people to still proceed on their course for Finland's independence; I will personally use my influence to the best of my ability to give Finland the best shot at a free and secure nation.

I hope that all our parties can unite under this banner unity, and I am prepared to meet the trials and tribulations that await us in the near future.

Good luck to everyone.
