Just one question comes to my mind. How is what we did more immoral than what you we're trying to succeed with France?(except for the fact that we won). And don't start with the unethical takeover as that has nothing to do with imperialism. I'm truly searching for an answer and not just trying to stir up the spirits.

Well, ours (although this will provoke a storm of debate) was a response to imperialism. France flexed its muscles in Switzerland and elsewhere, so we flexed back. Yours, with all due respect, was an imoral land grab. You wanted West Siberia for its resources and nothing along the lines of international fair play stood in your way.

Well I wouldn't quite call attacking Switzerland imperialism(if that is what you are referring to). For example, what Iran is doing is imperialism they are conquering territories just because they can. We at least had a reason. And don't tell me that if successful al the nations that participated in the conquest of France would have trampled over each other to see who gets to free them first, or that you would have freed Switzerland and let the French go I highly doubt that.(We wanted to free Russia at first, but seeing the fight they put up to free them now would be suicide).

And both immoral and amoral are correct to my knowledge, but immoral is with two m's.(sorry if it's not right but English isn't my first language)

Of course we would, and the more mobile divisions of our army would join without a second thought especially in the absence of a war on our borders.

A great military and political power cannot abstain from becoming an economic one, we did not start the war to supress a nation, we could care less about them, we need a powerful economy for when our other two powers will be dwindling; the point I am trying to make here is that what Romania did was what any other country in our position would have done.

What I and every other Romanian wish is that everyone else would stop buying into the PEACE propaganda and be a bit more understanding of us. We will never give up on you, please do not give up on us.

And I can respect that of course, but in the context of what we've been fighting about we as a nation need to show that imperialism (and it is, strengthening your own economy at the consequence of another country's independence) won't be tolerated.

And it's not a case of giving up; far from it. The MDU just felt our need to announce that we don't support or advocate this war.

Well the initial intention was to just take that region, but the incredibly hateful reaction from the Russians(which is understandable but not entirely) has prompted us to reconsider. If you would have only seen the remarks they made when we attacked promising to give their land back, when they boasted about their infinite power and their subsequent alliance with all the PEACE nations now makes it impossible for us to give them freedom. We are not imperialist, this is why Slovakia has been freed when we took them from Hungary, this is why Hungary still exists, so will Russia, but at a later time when everyone cools down a bit.

But what about Greece, or Israel for that matter?What about the war on India adn pakistan led by Iran?Isn't that imperialism?No it's just politics.

We all attacked France because it was decided.The swedes had as an objective the region with wood productivity. In politics it's not that bad, you must follow your interests. France was attacked simply because it was located between 4 Atlantis countries, remember?

For you it's bad because you have nowhere else to attack..

@valahu: Very true, that's why if you'll scroll back a few you'll see an article submitted by myself condemning Turkey's imperialism in Greece and Turkey. And like I said, there would be debate over why we attacked France. I choose to believe it was over Switzerland.

And I'd like to back up what Intrepid said as well, this is the response of one party rather than all.

Well you can choose to believe that any actions were for anything, truth be told if Swiss freedom was the desiderate it would have been done by one nation of ATLANTIS backed by all other members. Instead it was a great surgical strike from all the nations which had Swis freedom as it's cassus belli, nothing simpler.

Talks of Mexico being attacked by the US aren't new, they are permanently a target, why? because war is fun, it's good for the economy, it's good for wellness and experience. You don't need a reason to go to war, you need an excuse not to, that's why alliances exist.

In case Intrepid was talking about me, this is just my personal opinion and that's why I'm not posting from the embassy's account.

So... What measure can the UK take against Romanian Imperialism?

we shouldnt, simple as. romania is ATLANTIS's muscle atm - until we can say that the australians, isreali's, S Africans, Chinese, indians and argentinians have all of their land back then we shouldnt do a thing about romania. oh and lets not forget the greeks as well

See, that I'll agree with 100% of the time. It's true, it's one of the things that makes the game so addicting. Taken to extremes though it has the opposite effect IMO.

You make an excellent point though, everyone goes to war and people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
