Running in Kansas

Day 674, 06:21 Published in USA USA by Elderon Zakath

Hello there! You most likely don't know me, but I assure you that if you've been around the eUS forums for awhile - you've seen me post.

I'm loud on the forums. I'm actively learning the game mechanics. And I've been keeping an eye on various things ( Newspapers, strategy, etc ). I pretty much have no life~ Ok, actually, I do.

To give a brief summed up background; I was put into office of Congress for Maine during the war. I took the time to offer my services to proposals and participating in discussions.

Originally after being put in Congress, my plan was to donate the gold I won and resign. I figured I wasn't ready for it since I was still understanding the game. However, due to a group of active players who have been around longer than I have, they managed to talk me into staying as I tended to provide different perspectives to the table for discussions. Let alone, I am highly active.

I didn't really intend on running again. I'm not much of a politician. A friend of mine constantly reminds me that I need to be more diplomatic, but one thing is for sure, is that I'm honest and that I have no fear of speaking out. Ask some of the people on the boards. Some hate me, others love me, and it doesn't bother me either way. So once again, I was asked to run again, and I decided to take it up once more.

My duty to this nation is one thing - To get things done. That's all it's been. That's all it will be as long as I play this game.

Here I am, running for Congress once more, to ensure things get done as they were during the war.

If you have not done so, please visit the eUS forums here: http://eusforum.com/index.php

It will go a long way for you to become active, to be a individual voice for others to hear, and to know how the politics and military work for the US. There's alot of brilliant minds there, and I do hope each one eventually runs for Congress themselves as well, as they each have something to provide. It's also a great way to know how to play the game, whether it's business, game mechanics, or military strategy.
