Running for Party President

This will probably look so out of place among all the articles about the war . . .

Anyways, how anyone who has basically ever read my newspaper before, you know about my aspiration to win the Party Presidency of the ULJ. I mention it a lot it seems.

This is my article about that!

Ok, first things first. Qualification . . .

I have been the Party President of the ULJ before. Officially the time period of my Presidency was about from June 15th to September 15th, where I asked Ember to take over. I wouldnt've been able to perform my duties at that time successfully. (I was in a musical irl. I forgot how much musicals destroy you're free time) I had actually been the PP for a few days before that too, but I just would call myself the party president-ish person. Hadn't been voted in , I was the vice president and president left so I took over. But I got voted in in the elections so that's cool 😃

Anyways, apparently there had been tons of multies in the party, because a lot of the people in the party started getting banned for being and/or operating multies. so it went from like . . . 54 and a top five down into 24 =_=

However, during my presidency and with the help of active members I could find, the Party was able to hoist itself back onto its feet and reclaim the top Five position it had lost!

. . . But then I had to leave.

I always had the intention of becoming Party President again though. This might be the time I'll actualy get to do that! Only with votes though. Votes plz? xD

Well, you shouldn't vote for someone without any plans or anything.

So here are some plans!


A constant plan that should affect every Party is how to get more members. I plan on publishing articles and making events that might draw membership, and also provide a fun time for the members 😃 One of the things I've always wanted with this party was for it to be more than just a party where you're just kinda there, and more of a super fun place to hang out. I plan on continuing those ULJ party things that were started, starting some less serious game threads, and publishing contests and such through the party newspaper! It would be fun, and might also have the advantage of boosting activity~

I also plan on making a sort of system of donation from the Party to the ULJ Headquarters account. This way, if there's a national crisis that our Party needs to assist in, anyone who has access to the Headquarters account can help out. There might be a time when I'm at school or something, and something big happens. If that happens, I don't want the party to be without the ability to help. Though it is still entirely possible that no one who has access is on at a given point, the possibility of funds going out and helping eJapan are greater than just the Party President with access.

Though saying that I'm planning for a possibility of my absence does not mean that I plan to be in-active. I of course have school, but every weekday from about 1:00 erep server time to 9:00 server time I will be active. Weekends sadly are unsure about my activity levels, but I will try and keep active whenever possible during those.

I will always be in the ULJ irc during those times, unless my internet dies just to be a mean internet.


I also plan on some fundraisers for the party, as our party treasury has gotten slightly low. Not dangerously so, but it could use a boosting 🙂
So there would be discussions on that in the forum <3


I also will propose a rough draft for a new Wiki page, as ours has became slightly outdated.
