I am writing this article to tell you why I believe I should be a congressman:

Beliefs

Freedom, Fun and Fortune, or the 3 F's, these are the 3 major issues that I believe in.

Firstly Freedom, this is what being part of TUP is all about. We fight for the freedom of people, giving them more power and more say in how their country is run, as well as fighting for the freedom of the market place. I believe that each person has a right to their own opinion and that as a congressman I will address each opinion with the same amount of respect.

Fun. The eUK is one of the best places in the eWorld and that's thanks to the fun and support team that occupies it. I believe it is important to keep this supportive and fun atmosphere but I am able to make the tough choices when needed.

Fortune is probably the last thing on businesses minds at the moment, especially with the economy like it is. Changes in formula and Raw Material's have made owning a business harder, and this has led to companies passing on the new costs to the consumer. This in turn has led to a decrease in demand causing businesses to go bust putting hard working members of our country out of work. This has meant many members do not have the funds for the new increased prices and the harsh cycle continues. This needs to be addressed and is one key area that I will campaign in. I believe that we should look at sorting the unemployment rate out as well as sorting the general state of the economy out.


A Little About Me:

Well now you know my beliefs you should probably know a little bit about me. I've been playing eRepublik for over 4 months now and in that time have gotten to know many players as well as the general ins and outs of the game. I originally got into the game thanks toHassan who introduced me too it. So I then began playing and thanks to a good friends list from online gaming I was about to buy a company. The company was called "The Federation" (later "Federation Arms"), this allowed me to explore the economic market and after a short amount of time to start making a good profit. I then began to get involved with helping with unemployment and thanks toHassans I met key members of the political scene including Squiddy.

I then began to get involved with the idea of Zycon after Squiddy mentioned it to me and asked if I would like to be involved. From then on I've worked with an awesome team who have such a broad knowledge and that combined with all our different areas of knowledge; economics, foreign affairs, human resource management and the markets and technology, have allowed us to excel. Due to all of this I have a strong economic understanding as well as ideas for a better tomorrow.

I've also fought in the Australian Resistance war, and along with the other members of Zycon believe in giving them their freedom back, so I have worked closely with them on ways to help them out.

That's just a little bit about me really so you know that I come from a good strong background. I hope that helps to demonstrate that I should be a congressman for one of the best political parties in the eWorld.
