Revolution: Our Goals
logan Dunleavy
Greetings Singapore. I am still in hiding but feel safe enough to release this message about what the revolution wishes to achieve.
Our Main Goals:
The revolution has a few specific goals that, if met, will help bring about a better and stronger eSingapore.
Goal one:
Military reform! As of now eSingapore has no military, we haven't for some time. Administration after administration has promised a military of some sort yet all have failed to deliver, this is something that we as a nation with security needs and a small population need. That's correct, we need a military, not only for defense but to build future leaders and keep people interested in staying here and not leaving or quitting eRepublik. I have made the call for a military in the past, but now I am demanding as a citizen and member of the Congress of this Republic that our elected government take action on behalf of the people and enact military reform.
I am willing as a member of government to do what ever it takes to help rebuild this great nation's military to the greatness that it once enjoyed.
Goal Two:
Government reform! For far too long the governments of eSingapore have been prolific and boastful on the campaign trail about how they will change this country, yet far too many times once elected they seem to do nothing. I ask you Singapore, will you accept governments that don't act and Congresses that don't meet and debate. I can understand time zone differences for government members and real life issues but it is time that an effort on behalf of this nation is taken to make our government active! Our government needs to communicate with the people, establish functioning ministries and bring in new blood to the offices and oust old, inactive and inefficient members.
We, in order to achieve these goals must from together as a nation and begin a great debate and national discourse to collectively see how these goals can be met. That is the true goal of the revolution, unity. Because once we unite as e people Singapore we can work together and achieve these goals. Once and only once that is done can we see greatness again.
This has been a message from logan Dunleavy, high chancellor of the Norsfire Party and voice of the revolution.

Well done Mr. Dunleavy.
You have my full support.
I understand your calls for a stronger military. However, I think you neglect the benefits that can be brought about through diplomacy and actually talking to other nations. Also, a military is awesome, but you need active citizens to be part of, and supplement it. That's what we're doing at the moment.
Do you have any idea what is needed in this game for a functioning military, and how hard it is to get?
Sigh, Logan the more you talk the less and less I like you again. During the war you were doing so well and acting like less of the person who used to hang out with FC and be his right hand.
Now your attempting to mix RP (Stolen from the eUS) and real issues with eSingapore and morph them to suit yourself.
I told you to knock it off and I was serious about it. If you want to help, thats cool. Drop the Role Playing crap and go about it. If not your just going to cause more drama than its worth and be detrimental to the nation. eSingapore doesn't need more of that.
I can also tell you first hand having been MoD forever and a day that its NOT easy to build a military from scratch after its been gutted by inaction and inattentive commanders. Atra has been attempting to put the pieces back together and he's done fairly well considering what was handed to him.
It will take TIME to rebuild and it will take a lot of active citizens who are willing to donate their time and pay their own way for deployments to get it back to what it was.
Also railing against "ineffective" politicians is nice and all but point them out? What really do they have to do other than vote on taxes every now and again and provide citizenships? That doesnt really require much.
The rest of that about inactive ministries is placed on the Presidents you elect. If they pick piss poor people who dont do their job and are not replaced then the President is at fault. If they are replaced and the replacement fails, its up to the President to find someone else to do the job or do it himself if no one can be found. It also is the ministers failing if they cant be active and do the job they were asked to do. Shows poorly of the minister.
None of that requires a "Revolution" or crappy roleplaying stolen from the eUS's "revolution" which caused deep divides that are still causing issues despite it being "over".
Agreed with Relorian. It's like a massive babish game. You talk about my party being traitor when its you talking about a revolution. I refuse to vote for these article.
You say I'm a dirty communist. Your a dirty Fruitcommando lover.
Relorian made bit of sense..
Logamac didn't..
Am I surprised?
No.
Oh yeah the stuff about new people in ministries is my idea.
