Return and Return to Ireland

Day 745, 18:43 Published in Ireland Ireland by Michael Holcomb

I've been away now for over nine months, how long I cannot say because I don't remember. But I've returned and my hope is to make the best of my time here now. For those of you who don't know or remember me, I served two terms in the Dail as a member of the now defunct Irish Socialist Republican Party, which I believe is now called Irish Social Democrats. I also served as Minister of Trade and Employment.

But now that I've finished that rambling and poorly written introduction, I can say what I am writing this article for. I want to serve the Irish people, in any way I can. To help them to achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams. I don't know if I will run for office again, I don't know that I won't. I'm not now a citizen, but I hope to become one. For now, I will try to gain a greater understanding of the current state of affairs, in Ireland and in the New World. I ask for you help, and your patience. Having been effectively dead for a long time, I intend to live as best I can. Which in the end, is all anyone can really ever do. Try to be a good person, try to be a good citizen, and always be good to other people
