Join the new world

Once again, I have returned. Yes, it has been a long time, and I admit that the new world has changed greatly. But I have not. I still believe in socialism, and my past tenure, both as a TD and as Minister of Trade and Employment mean I am uniquely qualified to serve in the Dail. I ask for the citizens of Louth to trust me to represent them, as a TD for the Independent Labour Party so that we may further the cause of Ireland, and of socialism. Two things that are very close to my heart. Many of my friends from the past are gone. And I hope to meet and make many new ones. Comrades, the time for change is upon us. I ask for your vote, and for the opportunity to serve. That is all I ask. Thank you.
