Return: An Unfair Suspension, And A Few Announcements

Day 832, 16:34 Published in Philippines Philippines by Keegan Knoll

Hello, eFilipinos,

I am not going to go into just how frustrating and unfounded my recent suspension was, as a follow up suspension for not doing as the admins wish would not be something that I'd like to see. However, I will assert, that, as Hekter's article before mine has stated, the Philippines, and I as its President, did not, under any circumstances, abuse the glitch that the admin states that it found. What is important is that I have returned, and, although it cost me a few days of my citizen's personal life, my loss has seemed only to minimally effect the country, which is the important thing. Now, we must go on to more important matters.

Still Returning China To China
As of the writing of this article, there is one remaining region of China under Philippine control, due to a failed Resistance War in my absence. I will probably learn when a Resistance War that is sanctioned by both China and the Philippines will take place soon, and another attempt at returning it will be made. When this time arises, please fight RED.

The Future of My Political Career
Or, more specifically, the decline of my political career. When I initially ran for president, I had the full intention to run for a second term. However, the impressive number of things that were thrown at me throughout my term, including assaults on our allies by enemy forces, and a declaration of war by our lovely neighbor Indonesia, many of my goals were pushed aside, and while I kept our country whole and did my best to keep our allies safe as well, it left me fairly disillusioned about whether or not I should run for a second term. In the end, I chose not to seek re-election, due to a combination of RL factors, and the in game issues that have spent the last month mentally punching me in the face. Instead, I will give my personal support to a candidate that I feel will do a great job as my successor, and will do his best to improve the Philippines as a country. I will support CruelBear as the next President of the Philippines. He has been a citizen of this country for almost twice as long as I have myself, and has spent six terms in Philippine Congress. He has also served as a commanding Officer in the Philippine Military, and a speaker of Congress. He is very frequently available on the Philippine IRC, and has a firm grasp of how the game works. For all of these reasons, I feel that he will make a successful candidate if elected.

....And Another Thing
