Response to IUP Victory

Day 564, 04:55 Published in Ireland Ireland by Starks Hayter

Hello,

Firstly, congratulations to the Nithraldur/Severin campaign. It took one hell of a ticket to beat what we had.

I do have to admit that I am very surprised of the results of this election. We have had, in my opinion, the best losing campaign in the history of Ireland, and possibly one of the best overall. We have had the largest coalition in terms of the number of parties that I have seen in this country (could be wrong that it was the largest). So I'm struggling to understand where we went wrong, what we could have done better. Any feedback on that would be much appreciated.

I implore Nithraldur to take on board the points we have made. 141 citizens voted for change yesterday, almost half of your vote. Eyes will be on you this term, and if the citizens see any sings of laxity, arrogance or ignorance in your government, that will considerably weaken your place in luck. I wish you every success in the coming month.

To the citizens who voted for me and AT, this is not the end. We will be hard at work doing what we can to accomplish some of what we promised. I can assure you that if Nith goes for a third mandate, some citizen of our former alliance will step up. All we can do then, is band together, and fight harder for the change that you and I voted for yesterday. I, contrary to what I previously have said, am leaving myself very much open for candidacy next month, if I am called upon by the ISRP. Also contrary to what I have said, I will neither leave our party or our country, both need everyone they can get right now.

Good luck, citizens of eIreland.
