Response to IUP Victory

Hello,
Firstly, congratulations to the Nithraldur/Severin campaign. It took one hell of a ticket to beat what we had.
I do have to admit that I am very surprised of the results of this election. We have had, in my opinion, the best losing campaign in the history of Ireland, and possibly one of the best overall. We have had the largest coalition in terms of the number of parties that I have seen in this country (could be wrong that it was the largest). So I'm struggling to understand where we went wrong, what we could have done better. Any feedback on that would be much appreciated.
I implore Nithraldur to take on board the points we have made. 141 citizens voted for change yesterday, almost half of your vote. Eyes will be on you this term, and if the citizens see any sings of laxity, arrogance or ignorance in your government, that will considerably weaken your place in luck. I wish you every success in the coming month.
To the citizens who voted for me and AT, this is not the end. We will be hard at work doing what we can to accomplish some of what we promised. I can assure you that if Nith goes for a third mandate, some citizen of our former alliance will step up. All we can do then, is band together, and fight harder for the change that you and I voted for yesterday. I, contrary to what I previously have said, am leaving myself very much open for candidacy next month, if I am called upon by the ISRP. Also contrary to what I have said, I will neither leave our party or our country, both need everyone they can get right now.
Good luck, citizens of eIreland.

hard luck starks it was a great election. Your time will come
Nice message Starks. You are right about the best losing campaign, you got 31 more votes than nith had when he won last term. I am sure that it is not the person who is in charge as much as the ideas which are important to change. I have faith in Nith, but I also have faith in all of you to put the best ideas forward for the betterment of eIreland. Its the time to build bridges, and not burn them. Great election.
This is a sad day for eIreland.
I'm guessing there's no convention barring a president from 3 consecutive terms so.
I'm disappointed mainly because I was firmly convinved of the superiority of your policy platform Starks. I hope some elements will be incorporated into government policy to benefit eIreland.
good race, starks
Starks for July 09 😃
At least it was entertaining and a close run thing.
Best of luck Nith and please take a look at some of Starks policys and see if any are feasible to impliment 😉
Rough luck Starks. You ran the best campaign I've seen in my time in erep. Overall, you had many a great idea for ireland, and nith should seriously consider implementing them.
Do not give up on politics though. You would will make an awesome president if/when you get elected. And to end this sappy comment, you are one of the most valuable assets eireland has
It made the election exciting Starks, i'll give you that 🙂 ... And you had some good idea's so it will be up to Nith to earn his spot next time as people will compare I'm sure. You wanted constructive critisism though so here is my two penneth for what it's worth. Choosing ( or accepting ) the ICF as running mates may have done you more harm than good, as many people that I talked to were voting to make sure that they didnt get in as opposed to any great ideals that Nith put forward. Manni has pissed off and insulted so many people on the forums that even those he didn't directly have a go at, could see that they didnt want him in power. I dont know how many votes they brought to the table in your favour, but they certainly cost you quite a few.
Best of luck for the future... I'm sure that it's only a matter of time 🙂
With the support of 5 party to none, i'm very very surprised nith won over starks. Hard luck starks, you day will come and it will benefit us all
You ran a good race Starks. Good luck in the future.
