Day 3,117, 20:05 Published in Norway Norway by hans erik

Titanium is a very interesting Material

"Titanium can be alloyed with iron, aluminium, vanadium, and molybdenum, among other elements, to produce strong, lightweight alloys for aerospace (jet engines, missiles, and spacecraft), military, industrial process (chemicals and petro-chemicals, desalination plants, pulp, and paper), automotive, agri-food, medical prostheses, orthopedic implants, dental and endodontic instruments and files, dental implants, sporting goods, jewelry, mobile phones, and other applications."

Yes ye, you get it.

Titanium is the best.

[Edit🙂

(after i added this picture they gave a Update showing the New Industry actually is Airplanes.. )

This is the top secret u-2 Airplane.

I watched a story about that on Tv. This was during the cold War. They needed Titanium for the Plane, now the biggest producer of titanium was the Soviet Union. So in order to keep it a secret, the CIA had to undercover buy lots of Titanium and smuggle it to the US. 😉

" Because of their high tensile strength to density ratio, high corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, high crack resistance, and ability to withstand moderately high temperatures without creeping, titanium alloys are used in aircraft, armor plating, naval ships, spacecraft, and missiles"

Titanium dioxide is used as a pigment, to make Paint and so on. Usually to make Things White.

There is a Mine in Norway making this titanium Oxide.
