RESOURCE WARS ANALYSIS

Day 3,103, 01:30 Published in USA Croatia by Stlemmy

Hello everyone,

We're half way through this awesome resource gathering tournament.
Plato and his team didn't quite well announced the rules of the wars so nobody actually prepared for it in the right way. Countries opened too much fronts, trying to gain points as soon as possible to finish resource hunting. But Plato had a different idea. Want it or not, you have to participate in this for an entire month. Ok maybe if you have few regions you don't, but this resource tournament is quite different and complicated from the last time.
First few days were a mess, over a hundred battles, people fighting all over the place, etc. As always, we adapted, reduced the number of battles and started calculating points like great mathematicians. Still there’s the CLOCK difference between DomPoints summing and resource countdown. You’re not entirely sure (matter of seconds) when will the the DomPoints be added and because of it you just might miss a resource by seconds too soon or too late.
Due to distance blocks, many countries had to change their plans. At the moment almost entire Europe is covered for rare and very rare resources and countries can now only get lower value regions. For those who still have the chance to catch it its much easier not having to compete.
Other than that there’s other nations who like to barge in and try to speed up or slow down your plan in order to miss the resource. Some say it’s fair, some don’t. I won’t be judging in the article.
Ok, enough introduction.
Here’s a small analysis i wrote based on the data gathered by my friend Lacky Luke, who put in a real effort this month to keep track of the Wars. I am writing this at 00:15 D3103.

There are in total 574 resources to be allocated. So far we allocated 279, meaning there’s 51% more resources to be allocated. Here’s a graphical look sorted by the number of regions.

Fish is the most allocated resource in the world, because it’s the most common resources to get, and after all, fish is good for you. Everybody should eat fish. Fish alone is not enough, you should have a balanced diet and be sure to put in a lot of fruit, iron and meat (cattle)  .
Ok, so what we can is that Food resources are most common in the world and are the most allocated ones. As expected, the New industry is the most rare in the world. There are only 2 Neodymium left, one of them being collected today. It’ll be quite a battle. Cause of the distance rule of 4000km between Neodymium regions whole Europe lost it’s chance of getting it after Poland took one. The other went to Pakistan meaning part of Asia is blocked too. Africa, North & South America and Eastern Asia are still open for getting it. Resource is available in 2 hours, meaning in some countries the middle of the night.
EDIT:It was a tight battle, but Japan got the 3rd Neodymium and thus blocked the rest of Asia. The battle for the 4th Neo will be fought between just few countries, as most of the world is blocked for it.

When it comes to number of resources possible USA is the biggest winner with 51 resources allowed to claim, followed by China with 29 and France with 22. USA allocated 18, China 14 and France only 6 resources so far. From these three France is the biggest loser since it does not have the option to gain anymore Very rare and rare resources (Limestone still available) while USA and China still have options for everything.
Russia and Canada – the biggest countries in the world by square km have only 12 and 13 regions in game.
Belarus, Portugal, Estonia, Thailand, Belgium and Slovakia finished their hunting and are free to help their allies for the rest of the month. Uruguay, New Zealand, Netherlands, Israel and North Korea so far didn’t get any resource.

The countries that allocated the most resources are as follows:
USA 18
China 14
Spain 13
Ukraine 10
Russia 10
Germany 10
Italy 9
....

As 4 resources in a regions is the maximum, here’s a list of most productive regions (90% productivity is the best case scenario) so far, where most of the industries will be based in in the future (not necessarily- we’ll see how the new productivity formula will work):

House
Washington, USA
Lower Kartli, Georgia
Canary Islands, Spain

Weapon
Western Siberia, Russia
Azores, Portugal

Food
Nebraska, USA
Volga Vyatka, Russia
Murcia, Spain
Mecklenurg-West Pomerania, Germany

New Industry
Balochistan, Pakistan – 70%

These wars have shown us how you don't have to be big and strong to be well organized.

I don’t want to make this TL😉R article, this is enough for now. Hopefully, i will do at least one more article with an update in the following 15 days.

For those who got great productivity and very rare resources: Awesome job getting them, beware of occupation in the future
For those who still have regions left: Good luck with your resource hunting
For those who finishe😛 Good job, enjoy
For those who got none or few so far: Get off your ass, start doing some math and organize

Let me know if you have remarks, or if you would like to see more statistics, rankings, graphs etc...
