Resigning from Congress

I have resigned from Congress. To be honest, the fun has been sucked out of. The PMs about me being on a power trip or being unpatriotic because I question someone about behavior or suggest a change to a program are getting old. I really don't care about power. I honestly just wanted to do more than simply click work and train every day.

So I have donated my 5g from this election to Chocolate McSkittles so he can do what is best with it.

I have resigned from the AAP as well. I have never really cared about parties and the Merc/Tormod party president fighting is lame. Merc disappears and Tormod does nothing for the actual party but bad mouth Merc. When merc does show up for something, Tormod sits there calling him names the whole time. I do not want to be a part of that. That and Ian John Locke IV messing with the forums and the IRC channels makes it difficult to get anything in the AAP done. He is USWP and should be in their IRC and posting in the private areas of their forums.

So I am going to be an independent and focus on my Citizenship Approval Tracking and Reporting. I have a group of friends I got to join the game and I have been neglecting them while I fought with people over lame things like not calling names and improving a system that is broken.

So thank you to everyone who voted for me in the most recent election and the previous ones.

I apologize to the citizens of Rhode Island, but honestly there are only one or two people who actually live there. If you are reading this, and you do live in Rhode Island, you really need to move to Florida or California. Contact me and I will send you a moving ticket.

Sorry to hear that you resigned....I liked the fact you would question things in Congress...there weren't enough people doing it but I know exactly how you feel.

Dont let some guy anger you this much. I've read your articles, and from what I've heard, you're one of our best congressmen. From the 49 congressmen elected this term, only about 25 deserved their seat. You're one of those guys.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. I have been AAP from the beginning - Aren was PP. I appreciate Merc's efforts to build the party, but am becoming concerned that it is turning into a vanity project. I would prefer to take the party back than to resign. Let's see what happens...

That's really too bad. You've always been one of my favorite congressmen. You questioned what some would consider unquestionable, and stood with the big guys when it came to big time politics. You still took time for the little guys and the newbie players, (like approving my citizenship, that was nice 😃). Best of luck to you, in whatever you do.

I respect you and sincerely think you were one of the most intelligent people in Congress. I noticed that you attracted an undue amount of personal insults for your suggestions and never resorted to the same treatment others were giving you. I am disappointed to lose you, both in Congress and AAP. Best wishes in whatever you end up doing.

@Astra: lol, the CTF and the State Department made it very clear that what I was proposing was not needed and if it were needed, it was not possible. They can continue to do what they do and I will track and report on what they do.

While I appreciate your interest, the CTF and specifically Bradley Reala, Serendipitous, and woohoobob made it very clear that my help was not needed nor wanted within the CTF. Besides, I already tried to work within the system and failed. That is kinda the point behind my resignation.

Wapu, you have consistently overstepped your bounds as a congressman by harassing the CTF, demanding more information than even I need about citizenship, and going so far as to suggest that the task force be disbanded. You are not the type of man we need in Congress.
