On the other hand, National Socialism became mainstream in Germany in real life after the humiliating defeat and the insane terms imposed on Germany after World War I. Today, in eRep, Germany has suffered another humiliating defeat, and will suffer even harsher terms imposed by Sweden and Poland. Severe loss of regions, a ruined economy, no loyal allies left except Japan, etc...

So yeah, it's up to Germany to decide, but the majority will probably vote for the same Social/Liberal Democrats who created this mess in the first place just because it's the "political correct" thing to do...

Habraka, Starkad didn't get us into this mess, you don't even know what you're talking about. As for your articles? I appreciate the overall view but making demands on behalf of the German government towards our enemies is unacceptable.

We have a non-appeasement policy, it has been stated many times and Kalle Holm knows that very well. If you want to argue with me about it, go ahead, I defined our non-appeasement policy. Then yes there is the matter of 'Nationalism-Socialism', as defined we recognize it is not of the RL sense, but the name still refers to a bad period in German history.

Our government is doing the damn best it can to win this war, which if you've taken the time to notice is not exactly of the best of circumstances. We are fighting Poland and Sweden. Sweden is considered one of the world's top military and that have Romanian tankers supporting them. If you want to argue with the Romanian bit, you can ask the Romanian president himself.

The US won't grant us a lot of help and denied us the renewal of the MPP, we have given a lot of respect towards the American citizens regardless. Everything we do is towards building relations and mantaining our allies, our MoFA department is doing well. So when I see this whole 'drama' crap, I don't see you as some form of hero, just somebody trying to grab attention. We're doing the best we can, it's not an easy job and when you decide to dictate OUR foreign policy for us, yeah it makes us angry.

We have stated it I have no idea how many times, we have a non-appeasement policy. If you don't know what that means, look it up. Now I'm going to grab some coffee and go back to bed.. 3 hours of sleep is horrible.

Just to put this article into perspective for everyone.

As far as your stepping down from the "foreign legion" is concerne😛 After you had created politcal instability already 6 weeks ago by instigating my former MoD to slander me in public (I guess also for political gain), I jumped over my shadow and gave you another chance.

Since that day, the dedicated "Foreign Legion" - Forum has not seen a SINGLE posting. For that reason this unit never existed for me anyway.

Habraka, I have no sympathies for Social Nationalism. On the other hand we have a common goal for now: to liberate Germany. And I will side with anyone in order to achieve it. We do not have to walk together forever and I do not think it is a slippery slope to let a Social Nationalist into government.

I don`t care for RL politics in eRepublic and if this topic is one of eGermanys major problems I`ll be happy to return into wonderful country -.-

He has been _the_ voice of German resistance since the beginning of the Swedish aggression. He has reached the patriots in some of us, he has given and is still giving hope to some of us that Germany will be liberated again.

Where have you been? Or Chicco? Or Elisa Vorimberg? Have any of you encouraged us to fight? Have any of you given us any reason to believe that you still lead Germany? That you have a plan? Any plan at all? No – a foreigner gives us hope and appears to have a plan how to win Germany back.

You will be glad to know then that I and the Abrivianius Defence Force are working together with Rotfuchs Military Organisation, the Rurh-Gruppe and various other resistance groups in Germany. I am currently working on centralising our communication, pooling our resources, stockpiling weapons and establishing international contacts that are willing to aid us with our cause.

Whilst the German government is hiding in dark and secret backrooms doing who knows what, people like Rotfuchs, Simato, Otto Von Roth, me and many others are working and fighting on the front lines for the survival of the Germans as a sovereign people. If the politicians fail in their task to run a country, the citizens take over.

What have we done? We have done our jobs? I have been working in the MoFA department along side with Elisa and many others to maintain our relations and gain allies we have been one the main reasons for any form of foreign support.

Chicco has been doing his job, organizing the military and I guess as a military man he tries to stay out of politics. I'd imagine most people would respect him for that.

What has Starkad done? He has been working closely with his ministers and administrators. Together as a fairly organized government have managed to keep our nation afloat despite the problems that are in front of us, dragging us further away from victory. Something are not said in the public and we can only apologize for that, but if it means keeping this nation alive and keeping it free then we will do what we deem necessary. That is why you voted in Starkad and his administration.

Under this administration we have been very active in accordance to foreign policy and affairs. Sweden is well aware of our non-appeasement policy as much as Kalle Holm would like to wrap up the war. So when I hear little complaints here and there because not everyone is happy I take it into little consideration as a big problem. Habraka we appreciate what you have done in accordance to the war, but once again when a military man mixes in with politics, war becomes simply a view of opportunism.

So have we failed Germany? No, maybe in Habraka's view we have, but if that's just because he's not as involved within it, then it's not my concern. I know we have been working, unless what we have been doing simply never happened.

Foreign mercenaries trying to usurp the country they're in isn't a surprise anyway.

Starkard was always FOR neutrality as far as I can remember, Justin was always for PEACE. Both paths would have prevented a situation like this. Now eGermany is almost alone, she has no one to turn to, and you have a great part in this. You did everything to push eGermany into Atlantis, you advertised them as the most reliable power in erepublik. You was wrong obviously.

You said that PEACE is a friend who helps someone only to demand payment afterwards. You said the former allies and friends of eGermany aren't honest ones, they want many things in return. Well, how are you any different? You are saying that you gave everything to eGermany, and now they don't want your "help" anymore. What, you think they owe you something?

Also, I find that your criticism of the Starkad administration to be harsh in ways which are undeserved. The fact of the matter is that Starkad, Chicco, and Elisa Vorimberg are working to the best of their abilities to their assigned roles.

To claim that you are being persecuted for your personal beliefs is simply insulting to those you claim are persecuting you. You can believe whatever you like, but if you publicly declare a stance as unpopular and violent as national socialism, you're bound to lose your office over it.

How can you have flashbacks to WWI? I really doubt you were there to be honest. Also, I am not sure that using history as an example for erepublik is a good idea. However, if I were to follow your lead on that then could you flashback again and remind me what happened soon after a "national socialist" was made the leader of Germany? Oh, that's right World War II. That wasn't too fun for Germany, was it?

I must say... After reading this article and Abrivianius's comments, I must side with him.

Perhaps I'm biased for being in the ADF... Or I'm biased for having half a dozen friends that are fiercely socialist. Or maybe even I'm biased because I want the best for Germany.

Who knows. But if Abrivianius runs for .gov, he'll have the vote of me, and anyone else who doesn't have a stick shoved firmly up their rectum.

On another note: An ex-Alliance I was a member of in a different game (CyberNations? Anyone? Anyone? Noone's heard of it? Gorrammit.) ran on a meritocracy. The leader of the entire alliance chose the candidates (from a list of people who said they'd like to be on the list), in order of their personal preference. Then people would vote from that list... It worked very well. I was about to be elected to a low-level government position, before war was declared...

Oh, yes... And let's just *ignore* that Hitler and the Nazis (National Socialists, mind you) revived an economy that was so bad that I've been told that at one point people needed a wheelbarrow to carry money to the grocery store for food.

So, yes... Let's just remember Hitler for WWII, and forget him as "TIME magazine's man of the year for 1938". He earned that title when they gave it to him.

Hitler got "TIME's man of the year" after the Sudetenland crisis. He didn't want it to end that way, he wanted Britain and France to reject his demands so that he would have a justifiable invasion of all of Czechoslovakia. Instead the Munich conference made him look like a peace-loving hero, but his war-mongering plans a total failure.

Also, Habraka, whilst I have no problems with you being a National-Socialist, I don't think you should keep saying this reminds you of the "Communists" who signed the treaty of Versailles, as, quite frankly, it reminds me more of the 1920's to 30's.. A country in crisis, a foreigner with military connections exploiting this to slander the current government, and democracy in general, to earn himself power.. Making Germany seem like a shunned, oppressed buttcrack of the world, who stand alone against a global conspiracy aimed at you?

Please, Habraka, whilst I respect and am grateful for the work you have done, I belive your place is on the battlefield, not in the Reichstag. You will be of greater service to Germany there.
