Report for North Dakota Congressman -- January 2009!

BISMARCK, eUSA - Addressing a crowd of only a few hundred, the rival of incumbent, Iduffee12, portrays his vision for a strong eNorth Dakota, and a more united eUSA. Let's take a listen...
"Fellow North Dakotans,
Our nation has seen turmoil many countries have not. Though, yet again, we have shown our resilience, and our power. Our nation has helped to gain the independence of countries, even though it may have been short lived it was accomplished. Serving as a Lieutenant for the United States Marines (Company A, Platoon 2), I believe we have come far, but we have farther to go yet.
Improve our Frontier Healthcare
The state of North Dakota, has had a population increase of around 25 citizens within the last 4 months. That is a pretty substantial increase, especially for our frontier state. We currently have NO Hospital. We may be one of the last states to have a hospital, but I think the citizens of North Dakota deserve better. In my healthcare plan, I believe we should have a hospital. We should have at least a Q2 hospital, but I would prefer, as anyone would, a Q3 Hospital. With an improved hospital system, our military forces wouldn't have to leave to defend or fight in wars on our borders, necessarily. VOTE for a better healthcare system for North Dakota.
A Tax Plan for a Better Tomorrow
As our nations officials know, and the citizens know, we have a massive inflation issue on our hands. I am not sure on the issues that will confront me in congress concerning taxes, but I will be sure to make the citizens of this grand state known of my decisions. We also need to equalize our markets. The prices of everything have either skyrocketed, or dropped like a stone, whether I'm in congress or not, it needs to be fixed.
ATLANTIS
My last and final main platform is to deny support the Mutual Protection Pacts with the countries which are currently in ATLANTIS. Argentina, Canada, Croatia, Finland, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the UK are the current countries that are enlisted in ATLANTIS. Let ATLANTIS fail.

"My fellow North Dakotans (is that right?),
I have been serving as your congressman since the last Congressional elections roughly a month ago. I have learned, while serving, that all good things come with time, and Congress is no exception. It took over a month for congress to buy one of the most populated border regions in the eUSA a Defense system. After seeing how congress works, I realize it is impossible to expect a hospital of a higher quality than 1 without an increase in population. We are one of the smallest states in the Union, and must wait our turn when it comes to handing out hospitals and defense systems. Below are my stances on key issues.
Taxes: I believe that in order for our country to function and remain a top nation in the eWorld, taxes must be imposed, allowing hospitals and defense systems for regions in our nation. In addition, I feel foreign goods should have higher import taxes, giving American companies an edge in competition. At the moment, I feel taxes are at a sustainable level, and that there is no need to raise them any further.
War: I feel that war provides necessities for goods and gives the economy a boost. Also, user participation greatly increases during wartime. I am all in favor of eWar.
Hospitals and Defense Systems: Obviously, some states have a greater need for hospitals and defense systems than others, but I promise you, the citizens of North Dakota, that during this congressional term, there WILL BE A HOSPITAL PURCHASED FOR NORTH DAKOTA.
Citizen Input: As a congressman, I have messaged each one of you citizens, asking for suggestions and encouraging you to register on the eUSA forums. This game is only as fun as you make it.
I trust you all to make the right decision on this [Changed from December] January 25th, and vote for me, Iduffee12 for North Dakota. Vote across party lines, say no to partisanship and say yes to what is good for North Dakota.
