Relic' Mayoral Manifesto for Nottingham

Day 302, 02:56 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by KIA Sneak

So it was hard choice to return to politics. I've chosen PCP due to my long given promise and I've chosen Nottingham for my return from graveyard of politicans because it's my favourite Town, well it's not what it was before. Before it was a small town with handful active people. I had chance to meet all those people and they were nice and made me love my job. Now it's time so I return and make this town even better. So this is my manifesto, my standings were always more or less the same, and always clear.

Gift giving

My gifting scheme would be more or less like the one I used in Nottingham before.
I will give gifts to all people who have worked at least 4 out of 7 days in that week.
I will write an article with a list of all citizens of Nottingham in it, they will be seperated into categories - those who need gifts, and those who do not need for gifts, showing active and inactive citizens respectively. The article will be posted every Friday or Saturday, and gift giving will be done on Sunday. This will boost up wellness and productivity of the citizens of Nottingham.

I realise that one person is not enough for giving gifts to more than 10 people, so I have decided to make a gift giving squad. This squad will contain between 3-5 people that I trust, and they will receive founding from me to buy gifts from the market to gift citizens of Nottingham that have have not been gifted.

PM-ing new citizens

In Nottingham I PM-ed every new citizen, and I intend to apply that practice in Nottingham. Usually in my PMs to new citizens I explain how to find job, keep wellness up, join the UK armed forces, and generally give them other useful info to help them. I especially emphasise the need to join our official e-UK forums, and also offer them financial help, a good job, and anything else they need.

Taxes

It’s a strict PCP policy to set Company and Housing Tax to 0GBP, especially as no-one benefits from these taxes right now. I believe this is a policy shared by many others in the country, but I wish to state my stance on it anyway. The only time the company tax will be raised is if I need to "fine" companies having an inappropriate practice, in compliance with the Regional Council's new role. Remember that all other companies other than those being "fined" will be given the funding to pay the taxes so that they remain unaffected by it.

Activity

If I am elected as Mayor of Nottingham I will get our voice heard in the Regional Council.
There probably aren't many people within the e-UK that are more active than me, and I am more familiar with the politics of the e-Uk than most too.

Experience

I wish to point out my political life since I joined eRepublik - the New World.
I joined TUP some months ago and proved myself as an active member, for doing this I received my first seat in Congress. I served three consecutive mandates as a Congressman before giving it up.

Some months ago I ran for the Nottingham Mayoral seat against an inactive mayor, and won. I saw that as an opportunity, and I grabbed it and didn't let it go. One month afterwards, I retained my position as mayor in Nottingham - again proving that I was the best choice.

During Final Destiny's mandate as President of the e-UK I was appointed the Minister of Employment. I feel I did a good job and served our nation well.

Joining the PCP

There are probably questions about why I joined the PCP.
I had been a TUP member for a long time, I will never forgive myself for letting it fall apart like it did. After leaving I joined a mercernary group where I've experienced how it is to be the tea bringer as they called me. Well after that mercenary group was put on hold, I tried to spark more interests in the game for me, but didn't know how to go about that. I tried some interesting things, but eRepublik always returned to being a two click a day game.
So I've stuck to my promise from long ago to one PCPer, that if I lost the Mayoral election in Nottingham (as I did), I'd join the PCP.
I've fulfilled that promise now.

Last words

Well first of all I would like to say it was an honour to serve as Mayor of Nottingham for 2 months. I would like to have that honour again. I urge all citizens to vote for me - an experienced candidate who has proved more than once that he can do the job well.
