Regional Review

Day 2,233, 06:00 Published in Malaysia United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

Compared to other areas of the eWorld, South-East Asia is very small. However, this does not mean countries cannot deal a lot of damage or hold many regions. Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore do sometimes fight each other, or invaders from other areas of the eWorld. This article will look into some of the stats of countries from these regions and compare them.

Citizens
The more citizens, the more damage your country should be able to do and the more people to help control your country(which is usually good). Here are the current standings for numbers of citizens for each country in this area.

Citizens: Indonesia(2687), Philippines(31😎, Malaysia(282), Thailand(274), Singapore(215)

Indonesia is easily the largest country in the area in terms of population. This is also the likely reason for their massive damage output, and ability to hold down enemy regions. Thailand is one of the smallest countries, but is almost able to deal as much damage as Indonesia who have 10 times the population. All but one country in this region have less than 500 population.

Damage and Damage Per Citizen
If a country can do a lot of damage, they can hold onto other regions and beat their enemies in battle. Here are the damage standings from last week.

Damage: Indonesia(252,631,547,964), Thailand(150,716,692,025), Singapore(27,854,045,336), Philippines(25,368,504,592), Malaysia(1,903,261,527)

As mentioned earlier, the country with the most population had also done the most damage. Despite being bottom of the population rankings, Singapore was able to do more damage than Philippines and Malaysia combined. However, this is likely to be due to Malaysia's very low damage output of less than 2 billion in the past week. With both damage and population stats, we can work out the damage per citizen stats for last week.

Damage Per Citizen: Thailand(550,060,920), Singapore(129,553,699), Indonesia(94,019,929), Philippines(79,775,172), Malaysia(6,749,154)

The average Thai citizen dealt 500 million damage last week which is not surprising when 20 Thai citizens dealt over 1 billion damage and 6 dealt over 10 billion damage. Malaysia is again bottom of the rankings with the average citizen dealing around 7 million damage in the past week.

Regions

Two countries hold many regions, while the other three countries are left with two regions between them. Thailand and Indonesia, who are the top two countries for dealing damage, hold 8 regions each. Singapore holds onto the same region they have held for the past 100 days. Philippines also hold a region. After recently gaining Congress, Malaysia lose both of the 2 held regions.
