Regarding Mazandaran and Golistan.

Day 1,562, 14:40 Published in USA USA by graduallynevele

It's been awhile since I've used this newspaper, but here goes...

So today, there's a battle in Mazandaran and Golistan, Iran. Iran, a ONE nation, is attacking Turkey, an EDEN affiliated nation. Many nations have this as a priority battle to crush ONE and show support for Turkey. Bulgaria, however, is tanking heavily in favor of Iran, and against Turkey.

Numerous issues arise, namely Bulgaria's choice to fight for a ONE nation.

For many months, it's been made obvious Bulgaria's extreme dislike of Turkey and regarding their veto, their opinion to keep Turkey out of EDEN. It's been one of the hotter topics for quite awhile, now.

Then, I read this article explaining why Bulgarians are supporting Iran in their war.

There are two main things to take from the article:

1) Apparently, there's a deal to get Bulgaria some saltpeter: Okay, that sounds fair.
2) The deal is between Russia, Iran, and Bulgaria: Oh, okay, that's pretty good to- wait.

No where in the deal is Turkey mentioned. It's later talked about that Turkey refused the deal and refused to negotiate. However, here's where our problem arises: Bulgaria went around Turkey to negotiate Iranian lands that at the moment are not Iranian.

Grow up.

This is the kind of issue that Bulgaria needs to rise up in EDEN command and make an ultimatum regarding the issue, not go around the problem. Because of what they've done, now we have a problem with many nations fighting for Turkey to protect Turkey's lands against a ONE nation, Bulgarians fighting for said ONE nation, and Bulgarians shouting and screaming about how EDEN and Terra are fighting against Bulgaria (I'm looking at you, DCbg).

In no way are EDEN and Terra fighting against Bulgaria. The fact of the matter is that they're are fighting in support of a pro-EDEN country against a ONE nation, and the opposite is true where the Bulgarians have chosen to fight against their own alliance.

That's not okay.

Personally, I'm in support of Turkey. However, I also choose to respect Bulgaria's wishes and treat them as a brother in arms, as they have been for the last year and some. Actions like this, however, show to me that Bulgaria is either a) too self-obsessed to think straight, or b) too eager to create an uproar in the international community.

Speaking from both an EDEN (Norway) and Terran (USA) perspective, I say this with the utmost respect: Stop being stupid.
