Reforming the UKRP

Reforming the UK Reform

The last few months have seen a flurry of activity and new ideas within the United Kingdom Reform Party. New prominent members of the party have taken responsibility and the latest Party President election saw a transition of power from the old guard to a leadership infused with young blood. As the surprise winner Marcus Antonius Varias stepped down as party president, the runner-up Arthur Wellesley has taken charge as the acting Party President with Stefan Dorunga acting as assisting Party President. As planned in their manifestos

it was decided to make an inner reform of the party and create a 'Shadow Cabinet' from party members. To promote the new and fresh party, several new logos were designed. So, what changes in practise?

Party ambassadors

First, to combat the lack of knowledge about parties and their differences, the UKRP will send out party ambassadors. These individuals will go out into the public, advocating UKRP policies and seeking out new individuals to discuss the problems that face them. We believe this will both increase overall activity, while allowing the United Kingdom Reform Party to become closer to the people and truly understand the problems that face them.

Advisers

It is clear that it is becoming increasingly difficult for one person to handle all aspects of the game, let alone master all of them. Besides this, we have seen new and enthusiastic people fade into darkness just because they cannot find a spot for themselves within the political realm of the eUK. To help new people find a role, we are assigning mentors in selected areas of gameplay and to help new members settle into their roles in the party and within the game as a whole. Besides mentors, we are assigning advisers in various fields such as economics, politics, defense, and foreign policy, to help instruct potential candidates for the Premiership and our Parliamentary delegation in policy matters.

Shadow Cabinet
As the UK Reform is the largest party in the UK with over 600 members, it is impossible for one person to manage the entire party on his own. Therefore, ranging from public relations director to political advisors the party has formed a shadow cabinet - a combination of a body to help run the party and to work in concert with our Advisers and Mentors.

These reforms mark a new era in the history of UKRP and hopefully begin a new golden age for the UK. To demonstrate the change within the party, we are releasing several interviews of key personnel inside the UK Reform Party ranging from people behind the scenes to ordinary congressmen and party leaders, giving different viewpoints about recent events within the UK Reform and giving a closeup of the people behind the oldest and largest party in the UK. After the interviews are over there should be no doubt, that besides being the oldest and the largest, we're also the greatest party in the UK.

Tomorrow we'll start the interviews with Arthur Wellesley, current acting party president and the runner-up in the party elections 15th April 2009.
