Brazil - South Africa Non-Agression Pact of 2011
Upon passage of this referendum; I will call for a vote by Congress to affirm the result since only Congress can repeal laws.
The passage of the Uruguay MPP forces out hand and effectively scuttles the planned invasion of Indonesia. We are wholly unprepared for change in direction in relations with Brazil and have not had enough time to put a reasonable MPP stack in place to defend our interests in South Africa. Impatience threatens to sink our ship. Yet anarchy is growing.
My hope was that the one campaign would be a sounding board for the viability on the course being forced on us by reactionary forces. The problem we face is that nobody knows what the actual support base for drastic change is. The presidential results appear to read differently from public sentiment. There is nothing I can say to Brazil anymore that rings true without a show of all public sentiment.
It is time for every citizen to make their voice heard.
I will prepare the 250G penalty we invoke for terminating the agreement and breaking clause 2g and 2j should the referendum pass unless Brazil and South Africa can both agree that there has been no ratification of the NAP in terms of clause 4b and 4c. South Africa have overlooked past violations by either party as resolved and will not dredge up matters neither CP were involved in and thus could control. The final option is to serve notice in terms of 4a if Brazil can agree that there are no violations this month so that this matter may be settled amicably.
The goals is:
One nation
One people
One vision
Amandla, Awethu. Power to the people.

Pole!
I did create this shit by supporting this traitor in elections. I'll cleare it guys don't worry.
Could you just shut up and stop complaining for once in your life? You're boring the crap out of me with your monotonous whining.
U mad?
oi kemal, I said b-o-r-i-n-g, not a-n-n-o-y-e-d or m-a-d. Now I know you are a bit slow at grasping stuff my dear fellow, but do try to pay attention and I'm pretty sure you could then even come up with something smart and witty to say. Although I doubt it
out with the slave drivers
Don't Answer this. This is a rigged poll
And as always you gotta go to that tramp of a forum.
Lol
Only way to ensure unique ballots right now.
No it isn't, it is just the easiest way.
I am so not up to a vote count in an in-game article. If the Congressional Leaders volunteer, then sure. Life is too short.
YOLO
"Board Access: Certified Citizens, Honorary Citizens"
Sham of a vote
"It is time for every citizen to make their voice heard."
Except the 80% of the active citizens in the country who are not certified.
You are not certified by your own choice so stop complaining and take responsibility for your own actions. Man up and activate your existing forum account - then you will have no excuse for not being certified as an active citizen of eSA
This isn't about me. Its about very small percentage of citizens that actually use that sad forum. Nobody should be forced to register to any external website, especially an unsecured one.
And letting "honorary" citizens vote is sickening too. Why should expatriots have a say in our country's future? If they cared about eSA they would still be here.
lol alot of Americans including the current CP of the eUSA (a brazilian uber supporter) is a honorary citizen if i recall
lolololololololololololololol what a rigged vote
Yes, he's a BR lover and has basically destroyed eUSA lol there's not much left since he took over.
I can't change the permissions on the forums. So the vote is moved to where we can control the permissions.
Honorary citizens have no vote in the form vote. Strictly cs citizenship ingame to avoid confusion -- and there aren't that many of them anyway.
I will not vote on anything that starts with http://forums.erepubliksa.com.
Do not try to take focus off the Russia shit that you´ve caused!
Please don´t vote in this rigged poll!
Does someone have a link to the treaty that is not on forum, i do not have access to the link to the treaty. How i remember the treaty it made provision for re-negotiation and termination, the CP's should re-sign the treaty every month, all that should be required is notify eBR of our intentions not to rent and that should be enough. BUT i can be wrong, link to Treaty which is not on forum would help : )
The CP knows what direction the country is heading, how can we allow current CP to still negotiate for eSA after the Russian fiasco? How can CP hold a referendum on a forum the majority players do not visit, many cause it is ineffective, The CP knows all this, and is why i question the intentions.
Please don't vote in this rigged poll!

Thanks Leon, yep so we must sign MPP with eBR from section 2g, 2j is only applicable if we break the treaty, 4a makes provision for re-negotiation or termination, all that is required is a 30day notice period. Leave the gold just where it is thank you.
Basically right. There was an amendment in August 2011 stating the rental amounts.
Here.
The treaty can be cancelled without breaking the treaty. There is no need to pay any Gold penalty unless we actually break the treaty.
I remember a time when you said the only reason you still played the game was because of the forum. What made you so negative about the forums? Yet now you are once more active on the forums?
I logged back in yesterday to see the amended treaty, which i still can not view, only reason to log back in, oh and to vote on the BLF forum for congress And you are right Al, The forum and by extension the community kept me playing, i turned to 2-clicking when the players simply had no decency or proper manners. Since then i have become a bit more active on DB forums, and in the process of not just 2-clicking, thanks to the current situation where we are moving away from being pro-Brazil. But i might return to forums, but clearly the forums is not the first stop for eSA citizens as it used to be, and as such not the place to do voting for anything when a very big portion of congress is not certified. Maybe my grief would be with the certification of citizens.
I used to love the forums as well Al, not only for the socialization aspect, but I thought it was a fun place to go. You have been taking liberties that I do not support, then took it to the opposite extreme as to: THIS IS WHAT YOU ALL WANT?!?!?! I'm trying to limit my support of those forums since this time.
I still love eSA!!!
HUE HUE
eSA, we apologize for the months of mediocre governments of former opposition (Frigideira) in Brazil.
We want to cooperate with eSA even without rental agreement, eSA always be free to decide their course, and hopefully remain alongside Brazil.
Convince CAT. If this NAP goes away we'll see how fairly we are treated by them. Then decide if we are truly cared about.
CAT and Brazil have internal problems that affect us externally
I've always been of the current opposition and never had anything against eSA. This generalization that some Brazilians do us is unfounded and is causing major internal conflicts.
You guys are only saying that because the eworld has changed and now you are losing against eArgentina and her Allies. You did exactly the same thing with eArgentina you promised peace but when ur issues were fixed and you came into power, situation not only got worst but turned into open war.
I did not promise any peace with Argentina. My position was neutral towards them.
Even if I wanted to vote, I wouldn't be able.

Screw that vote. Make it open to all citizens.

Fixed.
Man, this is flawed in so many ways. If we want to terminate the treaty we just announce it within the confines of the treaty - no penalty charged.
Also, what's up with trying to fool the public that this is even necessary now? You brought the anarchy upon us by keeping vital information hidden from the public. Let's talk about your Russian fiasco before we start with this.
This is beyond stupid. It's a clumsy attempt at playing politics that would make the RL North Koreans blush with shame.
I brought this up because Congress have just passed MPPs with Uruguay and Argentina. Both countries are directly at war with Brazil.
In the treaty it says we cant sign MPPs with Brazil's enemies but they dont return the favour, it doesnt say they cant sign MPPs with OUR enemies.
Whats up with that?
Who is our enemy? Indonesia? No Brazil MPP there. Hungary? Croatia? I don't think we carry PTO grudges that far back, do we?
But point taken, the wording certainly needs updating. Much of what we do together currently is by agreement of both CPs.
This is a situation where Brazil has been expressing angst towards us. We are simply preparing for when CAT decides to terminate the agreement.
