Rather Confused
SamGibz
This is now my second time of writing this article, the first I had finished and pressed ‘back’ by mistake and lost it all. This foolishness has peeved me off but I still wish to make my point and whereas before I had a lovely introduction and things, now I am going to be much more to the point.
What is the situation in eSouth Africa right now? I am trying to find my place to where I may fit within this community once again and am finding it very hard to do so. I wish to ask you all, what is going on here? Who is on the side of whom? And fundamentally, are we under a PTO or not?
A PTO is defined when a group of players from another country come and gain citizenship with the intention of over throwing the government, taking control and acting as a “puppet” to the mother nation. I would also argue may it also be defined as when a group of players come together with malicious intent to over throw a government for their own self gratification with no concern for the community already in existence. Does the current PTO fall into any of these categories?
From what I observe, it seems that a seemingly random group of players have come together as they dislike the rule of the current government. Surely this is purely the work of democracy and a government declaring this act a PTO is a dictatorship? I question their method of obtaining their goal, 54 votes in a party of 22 members I have seen quoted before is rather suspicious. But, the act in general should be encouraged; this is what politics is all about.
What I also observe or rather, have concerns for is their intent. I cannot speak of what may of occurred a few weeks ago, but from what I have seen within my time back is that the people have made no attempt to try integrate themselves into the community prior to coming together after finding they didn’t like the current state of politics. Instead this is hateful argument and so forth.
From what I see I am still none the wiser to the situation. People seem to be changing who they support all the time. The Radical Thought Party has been declared to be a PTO party by the MoS, yet member of the Cabinet are members of the party itself. There is no unity in any persons beliefs and is seems to be chaotic. I am lost to who supports who? Who are those caught in the crossfire? Why this situation has arisen? What are the history if each of the players? What is their ultimate intent? Like I say, I wish to find a place for myself back in the community, and this is becoming ever more difficult, especially as all members of each side have been friendly enough to me personally. So please be kind and tell me, other returning players and new players what is the situation!
With Love,

I fight for the power of love
I would like to say it is the turmoil before a change of guard, the world is changing and views is all over the place. But truth be told, it is only because no one really know what is going on. As a 2-clicker i have only seen 1 update on what is happening, since one is not in the loop unless you are active on forum, it leaves a HUGE void for the 2-clickers not visiting the forums regularly, even though we have a vote to cast, we are pretty UN-informed.
Especially from a personal point of view i am anxious to find out any progress on the re-negotiation of the rental treaty, which was one of the goals of current government. Which would make a huge impact on me on deciding if the current government was successful or not in delivering on its goals.
There's nothing random about the current PTO threat,
Desert Lions and Lazokrats is the common denominator.
Having said that not all DL are PTO.
@Rex: There is no renegotiation. You know why. The RTP is proposing we flirt with Indo to imrprove our bargaining postition, I'm equally sure you know how far that will take us,
Rico i suspect for the same reason that would have existed when the goals was made, making me wonder why even it was made one of the goals of the current administration, since that was the only reason i voted for the current administration (ok the re-negotiation and expanding NaN) My vote was intended for who ever would re-negotiate the rental agreement.
No one has the guts to renegotiate the rental agreement...
The way I see it, there are players calling for Brazil's head, as those players seem to think that we are living under dictatorship from Brazil.
There are players that have accepted the rental agreement with Brazil, as they understand that without the support from Brozil, both financial and military, we would not last an eday.
The distinct above mentioned lines become blurred now when the gold mine issue is brought into the equation.
Players of eSA would to get a cut of the mine, which eSA won against Egypt, but it would not be so, if it wasn't for Brazils help.
So, the reason why things look complicated, is because it is. Players want a better elife here in eSA, and they are getting more frustrated by their own broken dreams, and broken promises from players in leadership, and the lack of service delivery.
In other words, the same k@k that happens in real life, is happening here in our elives.
