Raising babies to Construction

The title is rather straightforward. This will talk about the CONSTRUCTION.
We need to diversify our economy, we should not rely on the manufacturing sector. The reason is because from Kryteshyft's words, I think that our manufacturing sector is quite saturated. Then, we should create more CONSTRUCTION companies and getting more citizen to work in the CONSTRUCTION sector.
After the construction sector is starting to take hold and more secure. Then it is the time for the congress to pass a law on reducing import tax.
This is just an opinion, comments are welcome.
An example of a person from the CONSTRUCTION sector.
His company is called Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd.
When he move to KL, his company change into Phua Chu Kaqng Sdn Bhd.
He specialises is toilets.
He is doing this business STILL.
He loves red, yellow and blue and then the colour will boomz. It shouts "Hello, it's me arh! PCK, arh!"

If the manufacturing sector is over saturated, how come I'm running my q2 food company completely fine, while Sebastian says he knows a constructions company owner to have a cash shortage so bad that he's laying people off? And that's even with a tax that /heavily/ favors constructions, especially since not only is the income tax for food is 3 times that of houses, and it's import tax is 1/4 of that of Houses.
The highest profit and most successful companies in singapore are high quality Manufacturing companies, as far as I can tell.
Constructions are costly and work rather differently to normal manufacturing jobs. When you build Food/Weapons/Gifts its based off a somewhat low number. When you go for Constructions, the numbers get larger and the production takes longer. A lot longer.
The Taxes on Food are lower because when they were put in place, we did not have much in teh way of internal production of higher quality food. Sure we had Q1/2, but at the time we didnt have much above that.
Of course in our nation High Quality Manufacturing is king. We are a manufacturing nation and skilled labor is greatly effective. For our Construction workers to catch up, we need to encourage newer players to reach out and go into Construction. Maybe when we have our industry rolling and the housing market growing we could revisit the issue of perhaps allowing external nations to swamp our market with below cost housing.
lol you wanna invest in Constructions go ahead. But if your talking about saturation, thats an area that has world wide saturation issues much of the time since houses are not consumables the demand does not spike much.
Oh and that thought is not exclusive to Singapore. I would be very reluctant to start a housing company anywhere in eRep .. But especially somewhere that doesn't have HQ Wood as that becomes a major cost factor.
Can you make profits in housing? Yeah Sure ... but moreso then manufacturing? Even in a manufacturing saturated market?
I'm inclined to say it is not so easy.
