R-E-S-P-E-C-T : Putting ESA first

R-E-S-P-E-C-T - tell me what it means to la-la-la

Without this being too much of a lecture, I'd like to address something that we need to sort out in eSA.

Although it feels like we're all in a monotonous country where there are just a bunch of clones (I thought multi's were deleted more rapidly). We're a community of people who are luckily quite diverse - and that makes things interesting, and fun.

Some of us like to troll, others like to be serious or philosophical. Some like to believe that this is RL, while others a quick to remind us that it is just a game (particularly after they've PTO'd you or something of the sort 🙂 ) Some are here for the social, some for the politics, the military, and sadly there are even some who built their lives around the economy, once.

I mean, just think, we've got people in their teens all the way to being ancient, and I'm not mentioning names for fear of being slaughtered by means some form of black magic.

And all of us being different is all ok. We don't even have to like one another, we just need to remember that each of us can make eSouth Africa stronger.

But, the thing remains, if possible, try and figure out who you're dealing with. And that goes both ways. Some people are out to push buttons, they enjoy it. So don't overreact. And the other way around. If we're gonna lose a great mind that could help build the country, do we really have to troll them until they leave?

So what I'm saying is, lets employ some respect. Respect for our differences. And find that middle ground where we can have fun, without making life unbearable.

Its the differences that shape us in eSA, just as much as it shapes RL South Africa.

Kom ons werk saam en bou die land, en vra of ons die land (en die gemeenskap) bou, voordat ons net iets doen.

Let's work together to build the country, and ask if what we're doing is building the country (and the community) before we merely do things.

Its our diversity of views that makes us a vibrant place. Its the fact that we come from all over and want to impact this place that makes us such a vibrant place.

So in future. Think whether you're putting eSouth Africa first.

Unity in Diversity.
