Quick money opportunity
nathaner
A quick look on the markets shows that the prices of good on the Australian weapons market have skyrocketed, this means anyone with an Australian market license can make a quick and easy profit by buying cheap weapons from foreign countries and then selling them on the Australian market to earn some easy money .
Hopefully this advice can be helpful and you can earn some money ( similar thing happened in the eUK on wednesday and I made over 1,500 cc )

Voted so hard I broke my computer
you seem to really go through them 🙂
This war is turning out to be pretty profitable. 😃
it is not true, look at Argentina, or even Serbia which are both huge markets, there is not really a meaningful difference...
In some periods of time yes, Ozzy prices are higher than other countries...not always, not as a hint to make continious profit...
Problem comes in factoring in tax prices 😉
what do you mean? and how much can it affect the profits?
Sales tax (currently sitting at 8% in eAus if I recall) is the amount of the sale price which the government takes. It can affect profits greatly, as while the price in the eUK may be lower than our purchase price, after the government take their cut, you may be short.
As an example (using nice, easy 10's)
Say the price of a q7 weapon here is $10, and the price in the eUK is $9.25. Now at first glance, you would be making 75c per weapon here, however upon closer inspection you're actually losing money as:
8% or $10 == $0.80
$10 - $0.80 == $9.20
Ergo, you're only regaining $9.20 in return, hence losing 5c per weapon.
It is possible to make money with what you suggest, but it takes a lot of attention to detail. A better way is to buy off of #iTrade 😉
Well by all means do it. More tax for gov muahahhaha
This article definitely earned the gov a pretty penny.
Has TWO killed CoT yet ?
not just yet
...... looks at the clock..................................... it's ticking.
The only way I can earn money is to work once a day & train once a day .. takes about 5 seconds .. then a few small fights/buy weapons/buy food .. and the money is depleted again till the next day .. NOT VERY EXCITING ! .. a bit of a weird S.L.O.W old game .. cheers, Geoff in W.A.
pretty damn hard to understand ANYTHING in this strange strange "game" .. instructions are NONexistent ! .. I'm fighting as hard as I can for Western Australia and the fucking game says I'm fighting AGAINST Western Australia or against Australia & for Indonesia ???!!!@%$$#@@! .. something pretty damn FUCKED here !
You usually have to move to a location to fight there.
Yeah, location can be weird like that. I can break it down for you though:
There are two types of Campaigns - a Resistance War (oft shortened to RW) or a standard Campaign.
Resistance wars are started in occupied territory (IE, Indonesian occupied WA). To fight in an RW you must be in the /occupier's/ country (in this case, you would need to be in Indonesia to fight). from there, when you join, you will have the choice to "Join the Resistance force of Australia"; which is how to fight for Aus in RWs.
In a standard campaign it's both easier, and harder. A standard campaign is when one country is openly (counter)attacking the other. Game mechanics on the hows aside, these are easy to tell apart as there is no "Resistance" - and no little fist in the battle icon. To fight in a Campaign battle you must either A) be inside a nation, or 😎 be inside her allies. We don't get a lot of these, as we're trying to avoid being wiped off the map again, however we do have a selection of allies for whom we can fight. An example ina this case would be if South Africa (a NaN co-founder and long time ally) were to be attacked (not start a resistance war, but be attacked in the open), we could help them by fighting either from Tasmania (as the only eAustralian state), and eSA state, or any other state belonging to a NaN nation. The downside is, this goes both ways. Were I to be in Chile fighting for a region, and one of their allies attack eSA, and I start fighting, I would be fighting against our ally, as the nation I was living in was allied to the other side.
Two last bits of advice: help can (almost) always be found on IRC in #ausrep , and the wiki, while sometimes stupidly unintuitive, does generally hold the answer to most questions: http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Main_Page
