You Guys asked the questions so here are the answers.
Q Dr Hugh Jordan ask: I would just like to know why he thought another party needed ATO'ing despite it not breaking any ''ingame rules'' as the rules they apparently broke did not go against the game rules set by the admins of eRepublik but activity that is outside of the game (forums etc etc)and despite other parties had done exactly the same thing even the previous month - which was accepting citizenship requests without Keers approval.
Ergo First things first - with regards to the suggested ATO actions targeted at New Era, the issue was discussed in the private Congress forum. This area is supposed to be for Congress members to be able to discuss without fear of retribution. However, I'll elaborate on the actual discussion since our resident leaky faucet Goku Jones already posted the entire thread in his newspaper. For anyone that read my replies in the thread, it is easy to see that I never once condoned PTO (actively taking over a party) but was in favour of ATO - the main difference being that ATO involves spreading voters between the other parties to minimise the congress gains of New Era. However, as I found out shortly afterwards, Don was readily admonishing those who had acted out of line and reprimanded them for doing so. On top
of that, BaskB entered the discussion to offer the opinion of New Era and was especially concerned with the leak. The response was knee jerk, make no mistake. But this sort of thing has been seen in the past and our instant reaction was to try and minimise the damage. Perhaps it was foolish of us to react as we did but New Era as a party proved that they were on top of the situation and it has since been resolved.
iBurton ask: Any tips on being so highly ranked in the euk in the space of 5 months?
Ergo: As far as actual stats go i.e. strength and experience, I'm pretty novice. I managed my initial Gold gains badly and have very low strength in comparison to most others. With regards to politics, I'm an eager and keen player. People picked up on that any gave me a shot. I gained a lot of ground by being willing to supply tanks in the MoD for hours on end. Talon saw a potential in me and decided to give me the opportunity as vCP so I could potentially run for CP. I wouldn't say I'm highly ranked at all - I've just been lucky to get some good opportunities.
Mick Cain asks "In October of 2012, Talon Karrde was elected President of the UK and chose Ergo as his Vice President. While gladly accepting the role, the exposure along with further splintering factors within the UKPP, Ergo decided to leave the party and remain as an independent politician for the time being."
What splintering factors?Also he was elected by members of the UKPP,which after being elected he promptly left and is now a TUP member.He can no longer represent the members of the UKPP who's votes elected him .So is he going to resign from congress?
Ergo: The splintering factors that I referred to were several members who have been referred to as the "radical" elements of the party. Those who hold true to the anti-establishment policies that the party was built on. As I've said before, I have no real problem with this but when it becomes such an issue that senior members are encouraging novice congressmen to launch impeachment votes and bullying others into accepting citizenships outside of the standard procedure, I felt it was time to leave.
I appreciate the comment that I was elected by UKPP members and it's not something I would forget lightly. However, that does not bind me to the party, nor does it require me to quit from congress. If I made it into congress because I represented the UKPP members, then my independent status doesn't change that. I represent the same values and ideals that I did when I was elected.
Goku Jones asks: Ergo Deus is banned former TUP Congressman Mahlak Dependus, He has admitted this.
My questions is why he left TUP for UKPP, while liking TUP enough to support their CP candidates and forum and disliking UKPP enough to leave the party this week.
When he returned to the game he must have seen that the same people are still in TUP, unless he is a sociopath and didn't make friends the first time around?
Ergo: If I could first of all clear up the issue about my previous account - I was banned, not for nefarious deeds, but for spamming an article by Logamac using a comment bug that allowed me and a handful of others to post 10,000 comments on his article. I left the game after that due to Uni commitments and general boredom as the game moved into V2.
As such, when I rejoined the game, I didn't "leave TUP for UKPP", but rather started afresh in UKRP. I met Wayne Kerr through the Dental Corps and then joined UKPP because UKRP wasn't offering me any real challenge or promise of progression.
The reason I supported Talon's ticket for CP was because he was the most viable candidate for the job. There was no-one else on the ballot who could compete with his experience, his contacts or indeed his attitude. He's easily the friendliest player that you could deal with on a daily basis.
And, as for leaving the UKPP, as I explained in my other answer, it was out of disenfranchisement with where the party was headed - or should I say railroaded.
IronfistsTempest asks: What do you think will be this years Game of the Year? ( Any platform)
Ergo: Medal of Honour Warfighter purely because it will be adored by the console nuts. Speaking more broadly, I'd hope to see something like Sleeping Dogs get the title.

Successful players are ones who don't hold grudges and can take another player at face value Alpha. You'd do well to take that on board.
Who says I want to be a succesful player? I want to be a honorable and honest person. I know you don't understand this. I made you a couple of questions:"I have one question for Ergo, : do your really think we didn't realize your game ? are you "the animal that stays quiet just for getting a post" ? "
And it's true, in TUP there's no "radical" elements , all of it is an uniform, grey dictatorship of a couple of not very bright chaps ( read carefully Keers articles).
I did consider answering your questions but it's hard to answer sensibly to questions that don't really make sense. If you clarified what you thought my game was, I might be able to respond.
You can harp on about TUP all you like. I'm not a member, nor will I be. So it's moot.
But you did join TUP after you left the UKPP Ergo
@mick cain: Check your facts. Ergo Deus joined a fake party with a name like uUu TUP uUu. PP left and Ergo Deus is now PP and renamed to Academy.
The rest of us seem able to follow the rules and not get banned Ergo. I very much doubt that a media offense could ever result in a permanent ban.

Agreed Goku,I have never heard of anybody being banned for spamming an article and it is kind of funny how he was TUP and yet always liked to defend them whilst maintaining being unbiased. Goku's claims can hardly be laughed off now.
And calling for an ATO to be done in a discreet manner as well as saying ''we have justification to ATO New Era'' this is more than a knee jerk, this is a disgusting way to act against a democratically elected party...
especially when they broke NO ingame rules and did nothing other than what TUP, ESO, UKPP congress members ahd done previously
And this is the problem with the clique that run this game, you all believe that you have more rights than others all...YOU DON'T. You had no right what so ever to discuss ATO'ing another party when they didn't break the games rules...and to justify it by saying it was in a secretive forum section is b*llocks and makes it worse. You have an issue then approach the PP not act like high all mighty cowards

Which is why Keers and co, welcomed back Goku and didnt judge him but gave him a fresh start? Or why you was so concerned at his return you called for an aggressive ATO of the party he was in?

I'll address Goku first.
You are quite welcome to ticket the admins and ask them why my account was banned. You can also ask Mr Brodie who was banned for the exact same offence at the same time if I'm lying. You could even go ahead and ask Logamac who's article we spammed though I doubt he'll really remember.
And now, I guess, I'll address Hugh.
First off - you're not a progressive politician. In any way shape or form. Regardless of whether you claim that you want to reform the UK, remove the "evil TUP overlords" and restore democracy in a dramatic revolution, you have, in fact, objectively oppressive interests.
You don't want to "remove the ruling party", you want to replace it. You would rather power was in your hands because you're power hungry. And you're mad because those who ensure...
the stability and security of the eUK won't let you. Goku is an inflammatory player who thrives on spreading weak, unfounded lies with the intent of drawing attention away from his own behaviour and justifying creating multi accounts which he uses to infiltrate parties such as PCP, taking a Congress seat from them, leaking sensitive information and then quitting - ultimately preventing real players from getting a chance.
And you eat up his bullshit like it's caviar on a gold platter.
If you read my answer properly instead of seeing what you wanted to see, which is yet another symptom of this mob mentality that you're developing, you'd see that I specifically explained that any measures that would have been taken against New Era would have been preventative, not intrusive. They didn't break any rules, you're right. But several of their congressmen approved the citizenships that could be potentially harmful to the UK. You can argue black and blue as to whether they will...
Thing is, there is this thing called Forfeit Points. There is also various levels of Content Blocks.
I know that you don't like game mechanics over on the forums but unless you multi account, otherwise cheat or post extremly vile things - you do not get banned.
You get a forfeit point and sometimes depending on your number of points and severity, you get your article deleted/ability to post removed for a period of time/suspended from the game for a period of time.
but the bottom line is that, no matter how much you hate Iain, there is a reason we are one of the few countries in the world that has never been PTO'd.
As for your last comment, I don't speak for others. I speak for myself. You have an issue with them - take it up with them. If you want to be taken seriously on the political stage, then perhaps you should start acting like a grown up and stop whining about the fact that I share conversations with people like Iain and Dan...
since I also share conversations with people from every other party. You can claim I'm biased or not - doesn't change the fact that I'm not.
I have only ever had 2-3 forfiet points total during nearly 4 years and never more than one at a time (they expire). Interestingly I have one at the moment for replacing "Deus" with a mildly insulting word, so I adjusted what I was posting and I won't be getting any more for a while.

Roll your mouse over the reason for ban. "Spam or advertising external products". The reason I received a permanent ban was because I exploited a bug in the comment section of the news article where you could hold the Enter button and it would continue to submit them. I did it more than once and this was considered a grievous breach of the rules.
I don't know what you're saying - perhaps that I was banned for something else?
I have to question what you did to get a permanent ban. You either racked up 5 points over a few days/weeks with a consistent campaign of bullying against Logamac, or what you said about him / did to him was so horrible that they kicked you off instantly.
We all found Logamac mildy entertaining but there was at the time a group that baited him on purpose. to get a reaction... trolls. What you did was harass/bully/abuse another player and that isn't ok.
There is heated political debate and insulting people you don't like, but apparently you took it to another level and straight up bullied someone.

The mass commenting was in one article. It was something stupid that I don't remember - perhaps "pertamax" or "butt" or any of the other stupid words that we used to bandy about in the earlier days.
I really don't see where you're going with this. If you're trying to relate my current agenda or actions to what happened back then, feel free. I'm not going to discuss my original account again. I have clarified who I was, where I came from and what happened.

Ergo- How am I power mad? I would love you to explain this one. Have I applied for numerous Government positions? NO. Have I run for Congress every month? NO. I set up a relaxed MU and then swapped ownership with a RL friend so they could get the experience without them wasting their gold...is that power mad?

And you are the one who is power mad, TUP congress member before being banned (for a slight infraction eh? Yeah right) and then in a short space of time you have applied for position after position...how is that not power mad compared to myself? Basically you are a liar if you think an aggressive ATO of another party is preventative and not intrusive...especially when you can be quoted saying it should be done in a way that doesnt draw undue attention...not sneaky at all eh?
...and I have defended TUP in the past when they chose MH as their CP candidate. I vocally question TUP because they are the ones with the country president, most Congress members and the most forum moderators...perhaps if you took your biased head off (being a former TUP congress man who got banned be eRepublik) you might see that when they are wrong they need to be told...same with ESO, UKPP and every other party.
