That riddle cannot fit to southern hemisphere.

Shadow is longer for being 12 o`clock
That chicken came from the village nearby
Which month watermelons grown? March?
I will answer for the Southern Hemisphere as we are in the southern hemisphere:
1. 4.
2. A few days ago.
3. They rowed.
4. Yes.
5. North.
6. Possibly late afternoon, taking a guess at the slope of the hill, although given what appear to be inconsistencies in the perspective of the drawing it's impossible to tell for sure.
7. Catching butterflies.
8. Colin.
9. I have a feeling that the time of year those wildflowers bloom might be well known in whichever country this originated. Watermelon has a long growing season some places, but assuming a cool climate I'll guess 8th February or 8th March.
plot twist ...0 turists..from the clothes they are wearing they look like prisoners...so they escaped from prison and went to this unfoundable place 😛
Perhaps is typo. Should read "How many terrorists are staying at this camp?"
James is developing photos of the target, Peter is cooking up nitro-glycerine, and that's not a watermelon.
