PTOs WorldWide

Day 614, 17:13 Published in Germany United Kingdom by Elisa Vorimberg

The PTO of France was defeated.
Italy was lost.
Brazil is safe.
The PEACE PTO of Canada was defeated.
Czech has been lost.
Malaysia has been lost... EDIT: Malaysia is doing fine (sorry, Kampec lied 😛)
Thailand is lost.

And as you already know, Germany narrowly lost to a Polish PTO.
Because of my unique time zone, I coordinated our defense while everybody was sleeping. It was a great struggle, for 8 hours straight we nibbled away gaining one congress seat back at a time.
With the help of citizens from Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, and others, it looked like we were within reach of a victory.

In the last half hour of the election, Hungary turned their full attention to us.

But Poland sent in more voters, and when we defeated those, they took the wildcards instead, it was too much for us to fight, and we failed by a very narrow margin.

On a personal note, I lost my own congress seat. It would have taken 5 votes to save mine, other candidates only needed 3 votes, in an election this close, it would have been an unacceptable risk to send any voters for myself.
I feel somehow lost, not being in congress for the first time in 4 months. But I will find a way to adapt, and that is all that any of us can do in these difficult times ahead of us.

Watchful citizens might notice that a lot of bogus laws are appearing in congress, these are to protect us. Only one donation proposal or one minimum wage proposal can be in voting at the same time, these meaningless proposals will prevent the Poles from doing anything to us. The apparent chaos is a strength, not a sign of weakness.

And next time! Follow your damn orders! (of course a big thank you to those of you that did)
