PTOs Attempts Fail

Almost all known PTO attempts have failed (suspiciously so - what happened to all of these votes?)

The Philipines attempt was aborted.
eHungary basically is no longer too interested in the new states.
If eSpanish citizens attempted to PTO eFrance then it was a pathetic attempt.

eChina is still eIndonesian controlled
eIndonesia yet again proved that it's better than eRomania in a head to head PTO battle. eRussia remains in eIndonesian hands.

The great story of the month was eSth Africa. The eSth African candidate Gabriel Borien from Black Lion Front got 320 votes, defeating the eIndonesian candidate wizzie_don from the Church Of Wizziology who polled just 2 less with 318 votes.

The great thing is that Aussies made the difference with anumber of Australians travelling to eSth Africa to stop the PTO (including at least one exile boasting that he went to eSth Africa in the last minutes). Without us, eSth Africa would have been PTO'd. To those who travelled to eSth Africa to stop the PTO, open a bottle of Cascade.

Wizzie_don vs Gabriel Borien

251 vs 208 (About an hour before closing)
306 vs 300 - 5 mins to go
312 vs 310 - 2 mins to go
314 vs 315 - 1 min to go
318 vs 320! - Final result - Gabriel Borien is president of eSouth Africa

With all the hype, who from eAus actually went to "save" these people? I am guessing that the numbers are VERY low based on our turn out for our election.

I am just interested in seeing who actually stood behind their word. 🙂

I know that Aussies formerly in eRomania made the difference. Don't know of anyone who hadn't been in eRomania going to eSth Africa to stop the PTO.

@Icey, most eAus were at ePhilo to help against ePhilo PTO.
South Africa came much later and we were not prepared for it as much.

@srg91, how many are "most?" We were not missing that many voters that normally come out and vote from the numbers that I have seen.

Romania sent in the last hour more than 50 votes in SA, as Russia was dead..

i myself voted 30 seconds before, and it looked sealed for brazilians.

@sebahmah : It was pretty obvious early on that eRomania wasn't going to take eRussia off the eIndonesians. I did attempt to have eRomania reprioritise away for eRussia & towards stopping other PTOs but they believed that they could take eRussia off eIndonesia.

@Icey : Fact is that the Philipines PTO was called off long before & many used it as a excuse not to support eSth Africa. It appears to have come down to a Atlantis vs Peace thing here which I find disappointing (if not a surprise)

People are not obliged to move from eAustralia.

If they feel more comfortable staying in their home-country, then we should support them.

Fact is Pred that people were prepared to go to ePhilipines to stop a PTO yet wouldn't go to eSth Africa. The only difference was the one was facing PTO by eSpainish (a Atlantis eNation) whilst the other was facing PTO by eIndonesians & eBrazilans (Peace eNations).

Its either a Coincidence, or people don't like Atlantis.

That is their decision, its no-ones right to force them to do something.

Pred I'm not a great fan of Peace however I fully supported the Philipines efforts to prevent the PTO. If people judge right from wrong based on which side it is then that says alot against these peoples character.
