Proud&Horny Interview with Dinnyin

Day 4,690, 12:22 Published in USA Chile by Wilker Nath

Ladies and Gents, today we have the person responsible for the 153rd congressional shitshow, the former CBOD who stepped down and handed us this mess, Dinnyin!
But first, some music:

Mr Dinn, you’ve been doing important work for congress and the executive for quite a while now. Would you mind giving us a brief overview of all the roles you played in eUS government?

Well, Wilk, my career started off 8 years ago in DoD. I was working as a tank runner for TU2RU. Of course this was all following my taking over The Cannon Cockers (C4) MU. After my initiation in Defense, I went on to do just about every job under the sun, from deputy positions in NSC/DoD all the way up to Vice President. I have also been Party President, in 2 different parties, more times than I can remember. Most recently, as you mentioned above, I was confirmed for the position of Congressional Budget Office Director.

You have a great collection of achievements in diverse corners of the game. You’re a media mogul, you have lots of party leadership experience, a wealth of congress experience, a wealth of executive experience both FA/war and Domestic, but no CP medal yet. Do you have any aspirations for it?

I took it slowly when I first started participating in government, Wilk. I always had aspirations for the “big chair” but I wanted to make sure that when I received that honor from the American people that I was fully prepared to do the best job I could possibly do for all of us. To do that I felt I needed to touch as many of the roles in this game so I would know exactly what to look for when picking my administration.

I did make a couple of runs at the chair, but came up short each time. I have always been a believer that timing and opportunity are the only things that stand in your way of achieving your goals. But, as Hamilton famously said, “I am not throwing away my shot.” Expect that you will see my name on a CP race, coming soon.

I see on your profile, you’re also an erepublik elite citizen. I’m unfamiliar with what that is, would you mind telling us about it?

Elite Citizen is the designation that eRepublik gives to citizens who have completed the level 100 mission, to achieve level 101. Elite Citizens receive a 10% bonus to damage and a fancy little badge for the citizen profile.

Someone who’s been in congress as long as you has to have some good stories. Tell us the biggest/most amusing kerfuffle that Kongress has ever gotten themselves into.

Oh my, there are so many meta stories to tell over the 8 years that I’ve had experience in Congress. The story that comes to mind as the most amusing was the time that Wild Owl and Derphoof went to war over the seating of members of Congress during a wipe of the eUSA where no in-game Congress could be elected.

I would encourage as many players as possible to look over the Library of Congress for many interesting reads.

Onto some Fed questions. How long have you been in Feds? Why did you first join?

I have been in the Feds for the majority of my time here in eRepublik, aside for a couple of months that I spent in USWP after a minor falling-out with former Fed leadership. It has been so long ago at this point, I cannot even remember what the issue was. I joined the Feds after spending some time with them on IRC. They were by far the most active party in the eUSA and I knew there were plenty of players in the party who could educate me on the ways of governing the eUSA.

How has the party been for you? Is it still a good fit?

The Feds are the party for me. They always have been, even if I didn’t realize it, and they always will be. FED4LIFE

And finally, a question that I love asking: what is your Proudest&Horniest Fed party memory?

I honestly cannot differentiate all the P/H memories I have with the Feds. I think the greatest time when I have been the most at home with the party is when the most members were active in the party and the energy in the party has been massive. As it is now, we have a fairly large group of active eUSA players but some of the players who helped make our party great have moved on over the years, and their energy is greatly missed at times. Some of them come back and spend time with us from time-to-time and that is always a fun time.

Dinnyin, thank you for coming on the show!
Ladies and gentlemen, this concludes today’s interview, but stay tuned for more!
