Proposals to make eRepublik better
darsdm
Dear eRepublicans! We know, the game is becoming boring. People are leaving eRepublik with each new change. Maybe one of the reasons is that eRepublik, the political browser game, is still far away from the real life politics. Let's make it closer. How - here are my proposals.
1. Referendums
All proposals are pending through Congress. It's good, but not in all cases. Some proposals should be pending among the whole nation (like NE proposals and the President's Incoming messages). Everyone can vote in this proposal, and to pass, it should have more than 50% of Yeses.
2. Revolutions
It's absolutely impossible to change President without impeachment in eRepublik. Sometimes (in cases of TOs, etc) the Congress can be controlled by the proponents of the President, making impeachment impossible. In this case any person can propose Revolution, by paying some amount of money (depending on the country population, like in Resistance) and the whole-nation Referendum starts. If it is accepted by 50% of the voters, the President resigns, the author of the law becomes the new President, and gets the Revolution Leader medal.
3. Custom unions and MTPs
The President would propose not only MPP with another country, but also MTP (Mutual Trading Pact). In this case, anyone who had the license in one of these countries, automatically acquire the licence to sell in the other MTP country until the MTP is over (1 month), also there's no import taxes for trading operations between two countries for this period.

Dear citizen,
Thank you for your feedback! Your opinion is helping us improve the New World.
Best regards and happy gaming moments,
The eRepublik team
Nice : )
Idea about revolution is really really bad. Dont want to go into details but there is whole lot of it. Its much more easy to abuse than it is to abuse existing impeachment
Revolution idea is risky indeed - if it's just voting, masses of bots can make all the difference, and if it's violent, then rompers and tanks will make the decision for the rest of the citizens.
