Primary elections (April 2013) - OPEN APPLICATIONS

Dear friends,

this month we have decided to change the way we make Country President Primary Elections.


You may ask “but Lotus, why do we need primary elections?”
I’m sure that by now you all have read at least one article that says that we are in a middle of a PTO (Political TakeOver - for those who are still not sure what that is, it’s when someone comes to the country (through normal approved application or by bribing a congress member) and tries to come to power (be a party president, a congress member or even country president) by manipulating people, creating multies or bribing people (or all of the above). In most cases the PTOer (or a group of them) wants this power to steal money, mess with a country that isn’t in the alliance that the PTOers original country is or to show off (or again - all of the above)).

So we need the primary elections to choose a unity candidate, who we can all support and we don’t waste our votes on more people, when the PTOers get their army to vote for their candidate..


Who can apply to run in Primary elections?
Anyone in Switzerland, basically (except the ones we are fighting against).


How do I apply?
Send an IGM (In-Game Message) to me (Lotus Black) and I will add you to the list.


How will this work?

You can apply (via IGM) until 26th March 2013 (1953 erep day). On that day I will announce the official list of candidates for April’s Primary elections. Candidates can make their own campaigns and publish their articles. On 28th March 2013 (1955 erep day) the voting will start. Every Swiss citizen will be allowed to vote. The voting will be done via IGMs (to cast your vote, you will send me an IGM stating who you vote for). The voting process will end on 30th March 2013 at 10 erep time. Around 13 erep time, the official Unity Candidate will be announced.


Schedule once more:
- 23th (1950) - start of application process for primary elections candidates (via IGMs).
- 26th (1953) - end of applications, announcing official list of candidates
- 28th (1955) - start of voting process for primary elections (via IGMs)
- 30th (1957) - end of primary elections, final article announcing the Unity Candidate for CP elections..
