Presidential update
Cj Will Win
First off I'd like to say that sadly I have heard nothing further from the admins and it looks very unlikely that we will receive any of our money back. While this is a major set back I think we can continue to push forward. Our economy is currently strengthening. It may not be back to it's old level yet, but the value of the NIS is at a much better rate than it was last time, due largely to our minister of finance Franz Kafka.
Secondly I'd like to address my "inactivity". Recently I have seen in articles that people think that I am inactive. I'd like to let you know this is not the case. I am on for several hours a day at least. I am in the chat a lot, I check erep PMs and forums several times a day. If you have any questions about what I'm doing or why I am doing it or if you have any suggestions feel free to shoot me a PM. Also as far as my not posting many articles that is because my ministers post many articles about what they're doing and I didn't feel the need to restate what they said.
Next I'd like to say we still have a good relationship with Turkey. I addressed this last time. Nothing official has come from it as of yet, but I have continued to PM Turkey's president and am on good terms with him.
Next I'd like to address inactivity in the forums. For those that didn't hear our old forums were put down for some reason and we have new forums up HERE.
All congressmen are required to sign up for the forums. With congress elections coming up you can get ahead of the game and sign up now if you're hoping to win.
Another way to get in contact with your fellow eIsraelis or with me is to join our chat at rizon.net room is #erepIsrael
Coming back to congress, if you win the congressional elections we hope that you'll donate your 5 gold to infrastructure fund. Even if you aren't in congress anyone that can donate, it will be greatly appreciated.
Now for new citizens if you have any questions you can contact Roy Rising, the minister of education for help.
Now lastly I need a volunteer. I have gotten a request for an unbiased citizen to be our representative to a "friendly nations" council. I do not know much about this accept that you will be working with representatives from several other nations in order to make a more friendly eWorld. If this sounds like something you would be interested in contact me and I'll pick someone in the next few days.
Thank you for reading, as always please subscribe and friend request,
Cj Will Win
President

pertamaaaaaaaaax
I'm Cody Fraser , and I approve this message .
FUUUUUUUU RANDY .
Ahmadi nejad is your dead !
soon as possible he attack israel with nuclear BOMBs baby!!!
HAHAHAHAAAAA booooooombbbbbb
Lulz , I cant wait until you say something really racist so I can report you .
LOL, obviously Soshi, you don't realize the Ahmeddenejad can't even control his own country, let alone mount an offensive, especially with the world powers breathing down his neck.
Also, while Iran is on it's way to going nuclear, Israel already has nuclear weapons.
You can't even
lol before Iran did anything to anyone Israel would blow up them up in a preemptive strike. Lets say that Iran got lucky and actually managed to launch some sort of offensive against Israel. USA would blow them sky high.
Volunteer you say?
-hand up-
Excellent article Mr President. Voted.
@Soshianth and others - I know it's fun to talk like this... but I for one am not that interested to see mutually assured destruction in either Persia or the Holy Land. Iran should stop allowing Ahmedinejad from getting away with using Israel to divert attention from his failed domestic policies... and the world should tell Israel that owning nuclear weapons is 1) unacceptable 2) and actually no form of defence.
Yay ! Wohoo el presidente
Btw I think people attribute inactivity because they want some big loudspeaker in their ears , irregardless of anything achieved
Franz , the only way for Israel to survive is to destroy every single man , woman and child that wants to destroy it , ideals are a powerful thing , and must be crushed .
And also , nuclear weapons are a deterant , if America did not have them in the cold war , and the soviet union did , what language do you think you'd be speaking at the moment ?
cody i already speak russian O:
and i wonder how did my german grand-grandfather actually became one. ;P
ooh i know, they kinda won in the war. 😃
should i be happy thought? >
Passing thought... should it be disconcerting that our Minister of Education uses language (in this case, "irregardless") that serves as a traditional indicator of a poor grasp of communication? What's more, when Finance Ministers refer to the Nuclear Annihilation of RL Israel as "fun to talk like this", my instinct is to say Stick To Your Frickin Abacus and Excel Sheets and leave geo-political matters, real ofr imagined, to others. But alas, as I'm only here for the hot broads and the bad disco, I could be wrong.
@Hyman Roth - I think you missed the sarcastic edge to my comment. Of course a nuclear middle-east is no laughing matter.
Israel is not on about to be bombed by Iran - even if Iran had the capability it would not bomb Israel. Sadly such fears about a nuclear Iran are stoked by right wing politicians in US, Iran and Israel to further their hawkish agendas.
I think people forget jsut how small Israel is. Unless they inexplicably target the Negev, a nuclear strike on Israel would kill more muslims than jews and invite invasion by US and most likely neighbouring countries - now what self-proclaimed defender of Islam is going to do that?
"Israel is not on about to be bombed by Iran - even if Iran had the capability it would not bomb Israel." Do you even listen to what the fuck Irans leaders say ? Why the fuck do you think they're hiding the fact they're making bombs , oy . And when you're talking about these crazy extremists , they don't think straight , they just want us all dead by any means necessary .
I was just rather tired at the time. Dont take one example so seriouly.
Actually Irregardless is perfectly fine English...It means the exact same thing as regardless, but you can look it up it's a real word.
CJ is right. Irregardless is an English word.
So is ain't. Irregardless is, for the record, considered nonstandard English, based on the double negative elements. You can look that up as well. It would still warrant a big, fat red marker through it on a paper... which is in itself a curiously apt analogy for the current administration.
Nothing taken seriously, SIr Roy the Eloquent, just amused by the irony.
No you are incorrect. Ain't is slang. Irregardless is ASE (American Standard English) You can do a quick google search and realize it's a real word.
Some may not consider it standard, but I can tell you as someone who has used it in a paper it will not get you a big red mark through it and it is pretty much universally accepted.
Miriam-Webster: Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, HOWEVER. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead
ASE is, by all accounts in the publishing and journalistic world, where I spend a painful amount of time, a laughable concept.
Sorry buddy. Hope you didn't spend too much on that education, irregardless of what universe of yours "accepts" the word. Perhaps you're Canadian. That would explain it. Now stop defending a lost grammatical cause, obsessing about Kanye West, and make eIsrael the groovy fake nation - void of foreign puppetry - it should be.
Kanye West is a dick irregardless of what you think. There is nothing wrong with the previous sentence, maybe you're Australian or something because you sure as hell aren't American irregardless of your claims.
I am but a citizen of the world, President Puppet. Although my only goal here is the betterment of Israel. You should try it. So go get to work. You've a nation to reclaim. Or before you know it, the Kanye West paraphrasing murmurs of "CJ Will WIn doesn't care about Israeli citizens" will turn into screams.
ITT newbies pretend they know eRepublik inside out and troll the Israeli administration.
Good job.
More like "Cj your presidency was good and all, and I'm gonna let you finish up, but EMERICK'S PRESIDENCY WAS THE BEST ONE I'VE EVER SEEN!"
Irregardless of petty semantics, I approve this message.
(Not that my approval is worth anything, all things considered.)
Keep up the good work, Cj, errr...Mr. President. Wait...Prime Minister? fiik w.e
V&S
Okay , for all you bloody noobs , if you think CJ is so bad , go find someone better .
Hyman, you have not even existed in the new world for twenty days, yet you feel you have enough intelligence and insight about this game to harshly criticize the administration.
I have never seen you in the IRC or the forums where much of the work of our country gets done. What contribution are you making to our country aside from distracting our leadership from the hard work you give them no credit for?
I'm more than open - as I have been when I've had the time to participate in the forums and ask questions and be corrected as needed...go look - to learning. But this tremendous vitriol towards, as you put it, noobs, seems counterproductive and laughably self-promoting. Yes, I am new. Yes, I am opinionated and inquisitive and loud - as an Israeli, what would one expect. Yes, I have much to learn. But is the strongest, most effective government not one that is the byproduct of debate, a market place of ideas, and constant accountability? Child-like "go find someone better" (rea😛 You don't agree with me, so go play with someone else) and blind, empty allegiance, in my opinion, get us no where.
So learn me something. It would seem that the State of Israel is only strengthened by, as you put it, "noobs". Population breeds strength, no? Especially when the population is active enough to participate on any level, raise concerns, and not two-click the country into the hands of Puppet Statehood? Instead of un-friending me, Little Benji, tell me where my outlook is flawed. Instead of exhibiting eArrogance and the counter productive pomposity of someone who happens to have been participating longer than I , YYY, go outside, maybe take a run and experience the real world for a change, then return with constructive criticism of my obviously misguided "bloody noob"-ness.
Irregardless of your rash and flippant commentary, I want to make eIsrael a dynamic, robust place to live.
_Just came back from work out with friends . You lack understanding of game mechanics . Irregardless of your fail , I want Israel to be a fascist oligarchy , where men who can actually run our nation do so .
Now that everyone is using irregardless I'm happy.
Lulz .
PS Hyman - For what it's worth, I didn't realize you would notice me un-friending you. I didn't even realize the game alerts people when they are de-friended. I sent out apologies to a few people I had deleted simply because their shouts were no longer about Israel (since they moved or whatnot).
According to Merriam Webster, the gold standard as far as American English dictionaries go, 'irregardless' "is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead." Whether or not this colloquialism reflects badly on our minister is not a matter I feel competent to adjudicate 😉
Little Benji, Peace-nick Wii Workout Wonder YYY, I think this has spun out of control, irregardless of intention.
There have been some truly tragic assumptions here. I don't, by any stretch of the imagination, believe I have a superior knowledge of "game mechanics" (nor do I have the stomach to throw that term around in general). Nor do I think, as the eTragically eEmpty eCreativity of this world puts it, "fail". In fact, I'm shocked by Israeli's - e or otherwise - being so sensitive to what amounts to nothing more than curiosity doused in healthy doubt.
I'm far from begrudging guidance, superior insight, or being proven radically wrong. I fully note the re-organization of the IDF and the resuscitation of the Infrastructure Fund and applaud these whole heartedly. I also fully support the progressive, insightful Charles Nimitz plan for a concerted second Aliyah.
I asked for the friendship of the most successful Israeli's only to learn from them, and perhaps gleam but a fraction of their insight. I do not, however, believe that honest criticism should breed contempt. I am, however, amused that by participating (noobishly or otherwise) I'm designated, as it was put earlier, as an unmentionable troll with little purpose. Nor do I support the juvenile concept of Fascist Oligarchy. Just my opinion.
I love you both dearly. Can I ask a Congressman to pose a bill for less sensitivity?
Oh, and thanks Brother Ezekiel, for proving my semi-original point.
Wait, I dont mean to boast, but ive unfailingly tried to help noobs and answered their questions and helped them increase their wellness whenever they could, and im a great supporter of them poltiically, and yet you still criticize me?
Roy...it was just a nonsensical observation meant as a non-threatening joke. I'm sure you've helped many.
Lulz , I don't use the wii fit crap , I use such things as bench presses and such ...
