Presidential Update : Day 1

First off I would like to congratulate my opponents on a clean and well run race. All of us made an effort to put the previous month's partisanship behind us and we managed to have a very positive upbeat election.

Second I want to send out a thank you to my voters. This election shows the power of the new Ireland. Without the support of the smaller parties Irish Union of Irish Freedom can no longer win. To win, went on Saoirse's, IV and EA's and battled ideas with Snake ( No CG there ). I had long talks with ISD and even a chat with Munster Tom 😉 I think were seeing the beginning of an era of greater political diversity, but also great national unity.

Let's get down to business

Yall elected me because you all knew you could rely on me to get the job done. You were tired of the good looking complex plans that never seem to work. It is my hope to center this month and my administration around practicality. Practicality will help us put in lasting systems that will keep us at the top of the pile.

The British Business

With the pro-war Glados being elected in the United Kingdom it looks like our two countries might be facing a showdown later this month. The British are much larger then us and better organized then us. We will have MPPs active with our Bros, but we need to take the time we have left and get Ireland working right. Even if the UK doesnt end of attacking we need to use the possibility to energize our base. We need to use it for recruitment, for the IDF, and for instilling national pride. The British come into our media and insult our country and its Ministries. Its time to prove them wrong. Dont let this month be the month the Irish sat on their ass and let Glados roll over us.

Here is my crack team 🙂 I tried to balance it out between new and old faces. This will be the group that leads Ireland for the next month. If you are a Minister we will be having a cabinet meeting tomorrow. My vice-president, Moomoohead will be sending out the details.

Conclusion

Let's get things moving Ireland. We have a long month ahead us and were going to have to put some serious work in to come out on top.
