Presidential Address: War Games

Day 807, 16:03 Published in Israel USA by Joshua Hoss
:: War Games are Here! ::

The time has finally come! Today we officially signed an Alliance with Malaysia which enters us into the Sol War Games. This comes after much hard work by our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sir Valaro Volcrum. Congratulation to his effort!

The games are set to begin (at least for us) on Day 808 at 13:00 eRepublik time. That means that for most of you they will begin tomorrow. Remember the battles last 24 hours, so you should be able to make use of each war game twice (day 808 and day 809 for example).

:: How do I get the most out of it? ::

If you are a newer player or just don’t understand the battle then read this. We are involved in the battle because we signed an alliance with Malaysia. This means that whenever Malaysia’s home regions are attacked we are allowed to help defend them. Sol (an alliance we are in) has set up training games. They will use another country to attack Malaysia and activate our alliance. When they do that we can fight in that battle. Tomorrow at (approximately) 13:00 eRepublik time you will see an option on your homepage to fight. Before you do that though you need to know a few things:

1. Wellness

One of the main points in joining these war games is to increase the overall wellness of eIsraeli citizens. However, there is a minimum wellness needed to join a battle. The amount you need to join in a battle is 40 wellness. If you are below this mark you cannot participate in the battle (more information on this later). If you do have at least 40 wellness you can fight!

2. Location, Location, Location!

Location is key. Before you fight you should make sure that you are in a region with a Quality 5 hospital. Currently the only region we have with a hospital is Beersheba. Before you fight make sure you move to Beersheba.

3. Get to the battle!

Ok, you have 40 wellness and are in Beersheba. Now you should fight. Simply click on the notification alert on your homepage to take you to the battle (or you can search for it under “Training Ground”). At the battle page you will see an option to go to the battlefield. Click that to join the fight. At the last page you will see an option to fight (it will be green).

4. Before you fight check your current wellness

Unless this is your first fight never, ever, ever fight below 50 wellness. If your wellness is at 50 or lower and this is your first fight disregard this message. If you are at 80 wellness keep this message in mind during the following steps.

5. Fight!

Ok, enough talk. Time to fight! Click the green “Fight” button. Note that each time you do you gain 2 experience, will do some damage (that adds to your “rank”), and lose 10 wellness. Remember step #4, never fight below 50 wellness. If you fight once and are above 50 wellness fight again!

6. Heal!

Ok, you fought once or a few times. Your wellness is now at 50 or in the 40s. Stop fighting. We want you to max out your wellness as soon as possible to make you a better employee (and get higher wages!). When you are at 50 or less do not fight anymore. Instead get health from the hospital. To do that you can either click the blue “hospital” button on the battle page or go to the Beersheba Region information page and click on the hospital. When you do you will gain 50 wellness points! Remember, you can only use the hospital once per day, so don’t fight again!

7. Celebrate!

You just fought, gained experience, gained wellness, and had fun all in one shot! Pretty cool!

:: I need help! ::

Ok, so you don’t have enough money to move to Beersheba, are too low in wellness (under 40) to participate in the battle, or are not sure about the instructions. What should you do? The best thing to do is to join the “eIsraeli Defense Force” (or eIDF for short). When you do you will gain training and help on how to join battles. You will also be joining the official defense force of eIsrael, which is a program designed to make sure our borders remain secure.

If you want to participate and cannot wait for a reply back from the eIDF you may contact me. I will do my best to help everyone get involved in the battle. However you will have to understand that funding is limited and that it may take time to get everyone into Beersheba. Be patient and try your best to secure a way to Beersheba or to increase your health.

:: Closing ::

As always if you have questions please ask me. I would be happy to help!
