President impeachment, Why?

Day 1,407, 18:11 Published in Belgium Norway by Mikhail Alexander

Hello Belgium,

I have to say I'm rather confused on the subject of why Monsieur Guillontine was impeached. I was one of the ministers behind the decision of the impeachment due to me being online at the time. I went to bed shortly afterwards and thought about why I chose this decision. It was because I was, as you say "Following the herd".

Monsieur Guillontine did absolutely nothing wrong to be impeached. He made mistakes and a lot of his ideas never got through but this isn't a reason to impeach a man, because he was not doing a lot of work. He was doing work, sadly none of his proposals or ideas got through but he still continued the "Basic Presidential work".

Many people say that Jofroi as President will bring "Unity" to the country. I'd like to ask those people how he would do that. We had people who didn't like Monsieur Guillontine and we had those that didn't like Jofroi. I now say to you that this image of Unity is a fictional dream and will never come to reality on the basis that it doesn't exist. The reason Belgium was so successful in the past is because we just got the work done and no arguing between parties was necessary but it has now turned into parties flinging mud at others with lies, twisted words and hate.

Why is this? Because of Monsieur Guillontine as President is why. Many people are calling Belgium a place under civil war, I agree with them. It is two sides fighting between each other to gain control of the country but how long will this last? My personal opinion is not long. One group will eventually give up and just do what the opposition wants or they will leave and let the "eliteists" continue to "drive the country into the ground".

I'm deeply saddened by what I think is true betrayal. I learned the hard way that Friends and Politics don't make Excellence and True Friendship but instead show that your so called "friends" are prepared to lose someone like yourself, if it gets them in a higher position then before. Many people have done this and Monsieur Guillontine is one of those people who was betrayed by friends in lower places then him. I've spoken to Monsieur Guillontine nearly every day and I have never seen anyone so determined to just continue on. I don't think he'd want me to tell you this but he might be leaving soon.

He's now only a Party member of his party that he restarted, due to a friend thinking it was time to let his friend move on and put in place, Jofroi. I think Jofroi has come in at a place where his actions could make or break this character in the game. He's been wanting to be President for months now, everyone knows that but many think he will make the country worse, make it die. Now I've never posted an article like this before because I know most won't read it but for those that have and are reading it now. This is a game, all the above was written about a game. This isn't real life, yet, we treat it so brutally as real life on the chance that you can feel "special" as President, Party president even congressmen will make you feel, you have somewhere in the world, somewhere in the world, someone needs you to do something for them and you have been elected to do so.

I have to say, this country has become hell for most and I'm one of those agreeing. I don't think this country will last long before it is either invaded or politically taken over but I say this. Belgium used to be a country with nice people, nice things to say and very minimal throwing of mud. It's sad to say that it has become shit, I've made many friends here from before, who were enemies before. They are great people and we respect each other. There is no respect among any other group in this country. I'm to say I've had it with this country. I came here in December 2010 and I loved my 3 weeks here, loved them but I've now hated this last month due to the trolling and swearing that has been going on.

Something needs to change, I plan to help and make that happen. I have nothing further to say but just think about it.

Thank you,

Minister of Home Affairs, Education and the Wiki
Party President of Res Belgica
