Presidency

Day 1,477, 12:32 Published in Norway Sweden by Kaname Darkwind

I'm going to put this in simple terms for everyone's comprehension.

The presidential elections were yesterday. There were two strong candidates.

Stakerauo- The less experienced, but Norwegian citizen.

LavBoris- The more experienced, Serbian citizen.

Stakerauo would have been the safer choice for president, but the inexperience would have limited Norway in it's political actions.

LavBoris, who won the contest, was the riskier candidate. He can do more for Norway if he chooses to do so, but there is a possibility of him putting Serbia in control.

Now I'm going to stay non-committal on this. I voted for Stakerauo. Do I dislike LavBoris? No, he seems like a decent guy. Should you dislike LavBoris? That's really up to you, but there isn't a reason to hate him yet. People voted for LavBoris because we need the change and experience now more then ever. Norway voted for the risk-reward candidate, and let us all hope that it works out.

Congratulations LavBoris! I hope you do what's best for Norway.

EDIT: By looking around, I see a lot of Serbian support around Norwegian newspapers. Whether this is a sign of Serbians letting up hostiles towards us...or Serbians taking over our country...that remains to be seen. Troubling times indeed.
