Al llegar a la instancia de definir el Tito de Oro, la Fracción Titotrotskista se fraccionó. En medio de gritos e insultos de todo tipo se fueron delineando dos tendencias.
Por un lado, un bloque centrista que si bien defendia el método democrático con que se habían designado los premios, cuestionaba el caracter formal burgués de la votación y pretendía definirlo por un sistema de democracia obrera directa.
Por otro lado, el bloque ultraizquierdista, que cuestionaba todo el proceso, sobretodo el método de las ternas. Su posición era desconocer cualquier cosa que tuviera que ver con tres, tercera, etc. por ser stalinista.
Por último, a fin de llegar a un acuerdo, se definió que el recuento de votos se haga de una forma especial que aun no llegamos a comprender del todo, se reconoció el método de la aclamación con el cual se agrego uno más a la terna logrando llegar a cuatro, como corresponde a nuestra corriente. De esta manera, La Fracción Titotrotskista llegó por primera vez a un acuerdo unanime y los ganadores del Tito de Oro son:
