Potential Failure of Epic Proportions.


Asian Conflict:
As I have mentioned before in previous articles there are a few basic rules to warfare in the modern era. These include
• Don’t Invade Russia in the Winter
• Don’t get involved in Desert warfare without an Air Force
• Do not expect to win the war if your France
• It is near impossible to win a guerrilla war without the support of the population
• And Do NOT fight a land war in Asia.



Recent events and eUSA actions in Asia only underscore the difficulty of conducting a war in Asia. Asia is a massive continent with incredible natural resources. However, Asia has always been dominated by either a combination of the great Powers of Europe and the United States or the Russians.
In essence eRepublic Asia now resembles China and Asia prior to WWII and the Communist Revolution. We are talking OPIUM ERA China and with an emphasis on the Opium.
China itself is a weak country unable to defend itself without outside support. Its natural resources are being dominated by Imperial powers whose only object is to exploit Chinese territory or deny that territory to the enemy.
Remember, China is in Russia’s back yard. They live right next door. To the United States China is a million miles away and is practically indefensible.

In order to halt an offensive in eRepublic it is necessary to have what in military parlance are known as choke points. Regions where the enemy are unable to pass and must focus all their energy on attacking in order to break into open country. That choke region can therefore be defended and upgraded with weaponry and hospitals to stop the offensive and regain the initiative. With Russia in a open war with CHINA that is something we currently don’t have.

RUSSIA IS GOING TO TAKE LAIONING!!!!!!

Yeah, it’s going to happen and that’s only the tip of the failure we are staring at. In order to invade Asia the USA had to make a few deals with the devil.
• We needed to have an open war with China so we could move through their territory
• Which meant anyone (Romania) who had an MPP with China was now our Enemy.
• Unless we accomplished all our objectives there were very few ways for the US to defend China unless we bounce our military for very specific objectives. The great mass of the American non armed forces would be useless if our Asian allies were attacked.



Russia on the other hand was going to always have an opportunity to attack American or Chinese regions due to their large unguarded border. Russia and the United States in overall firepower are relatively equal. However, that implies the United States can call on the majority of its NON Armed forces to assist in the battle. Without that help the Tanks of Phoenix cancel out the Tanks of EDEN and Russia/Phoenix wins.

IT WAS BAD ENOUGH WITH LAIONING IN IRANIAN HANDS!!!

Now Russia has got the region to keep to itself or theoretically give out to whomever it wants. Serbia is in line to receive Karnataka which could make them a new major player. Or Serbia could receive Laioning and Turkey would receive Karnataka. Both are substantially greater threats and worse scenarios than IRAN having a high IRON region. Or Indonesia could make a comeback.

All of this ends up with eUSA having to swallow an EPIC FAIL unless we can repair the situation. The only reason we got so far and took so much territory was because RUSSIA shot itself in the face for close to 2 Weeks. Now that they have a LEGAL (or at least not banned judging from Russian public opinion polls who believe the guy is scum but is the only option) President and therefore Russia is back in the game.


How is EDEN going to prevent and salvage this looming debacle? I hope to god our government has a plan because the situation now is worse than we found ourselves when all we wanted to do was PTO England. I’m pulling for the eUSA to win this and I hope we get some answers.
