Political Hotspot
JQXZ
Welcome to the fortieth edition of Political Hotspot.
This edition presents a slightly tweaked design, along with some general content improvements intended to further develop Political Hotspot into a comprehensive guide to the ongoing political situation in the eUK. Each edition will now include data on Congress, the Dictatorship, and Country President, alongside party statistics.
In reality the BDP has got more seats in Congress than any of the other parties, since one of the ESO Congresspeople is actually from the WRP, having stood under the ESO banner because the WRP are not in the top five, and therefore cannot directly contest Congress elections. The fact that the BDP, as the fourth largest party, has managed this suggests that the other parties need to take action to improve their turnout levels on election day.
God Save King Woldy!
Political Hotspot is normally published on the 7th, 17th & 27th of each month.

I think that the disproportionally insane number of Congress seats BDP holds really definitely shows how inactive the UKPP and TUP have continued to be. The fact that the UKRP has less seats than usual is - of course - a mere coincidence 😛
It's possibly significant that UKPP had almost as many votes in it's internal ballot as in the congress election. In-party fighting and dissent since Alfa's extended departure (BC's cosying up to the "proud and horny" Americans, the "Lord" London scandal and, of course, our very own self-styled "King" and his "right to rule") has probably not helped matters and I strongly suspect those few supporters of Willy left in the party voted for the BDP out of spite.
Meh,
