Ce ție și cu oamenii ăștia, or să ajungă să facă o medalie pe secundă 🙂

Multe lupte înmulțite cu 4 divizii și Maverick... cam ăsta-i rezultatul. Și nu-i singurul care face colecție de medalii și publică multe notificări.

Plato ar trebui sa faca ceva cu maverik-ul asta:
-Bh sa le anunte doar la divizia din care face parte
-Luptele epice sa fie accesate doar la divizia din care face parte

Ehe, dacă Plato ar limita epicele conform diviziei „naturale”, și-ar tăia craca de sub Maverick. 😁

Iar BH-urile limitate per divizie n-ar rezolva mult, pentru că unii n-au Maverick și tot fac colecții de medalii și postează multe în feed. Încerc să fiu înțelegător și să nu-i judec pentru postarea medaliilor, pentru că e un drept până la urmă. Însă logic ar fi să aibă și restul lumii dreptul să ascundă atât amar de motificări de medalii.

- Charge X cc or gold for more than X medals posted per hour;

1. Get the reward (gold/cc).
OR
2. Post the medal.

That would be quite sad for some people.

Well, I can't blame people for posting their medals. If they want to brag, fine. But it's highly disruptive on the friends feed, and we should have some in-game options to deal with it.

Without them, the account development would become very slow - unless we buy gold. There has to be medals - this is not Quake. 😃 And if eRepublik will ever start resembling Civilization again, most of the existing user base would quit.

Work as manager has destroyed the economy as the market will always end up in oversupply.
Medals have destroyed the military module as nobody cares about fights, everybody has to hit where he/she makes the most money.
The game is dead has been heading towards that for years and this is why, there is nothing functional, nothing fun, nothing challenging, nothing that matters.

Well, I have to agree with most of that. 🙂 But some people still have fun in here, and some of them actively buy packs, which makes the game economically viable regardless of how the players see it.

The game is almost dead, the user base has been plunging for years, that's not a viable product.
Packs are another major problem as the folks selling pack in bulk have too much control over the game and even over Plato as Plato depends on those few and their whims and that's moronic.

In terms of the community, of course the game is not viable. But as long as it makes money, Plato will keep it online. And with the new mobile app for eRepublik, it looks like we will still see this game for a while, even if many players abandon it. After all, we know that Plato only cares about profit.

A product with no future is not viable, just like Blackberry phones were 5 years ago.
Go check how many people voted in elections this month vs May 2011 in major nations.

The only thing that truly hurts Plato is when buying players leave or stop buying. I don't think eRep cares much about non-paying players. All that matters for them is a positive balance each month. Shortsighted or not, they kept proving this over the years.

And it is certain that we are not too far from 0 players.
I don't know why you need to claim that running a business into the ground is not too bad. Plato sees the train coming and just sits there on the tracks.

And btw , Plato's desperation is highly visible, why do you think there are no EB or company upgrades promos anymore and EB packs for euros were added.

If „Plato” actually thinks that, then he's dumb. eRepublik can become strong again even without drastic changes. It only needs a few tweaks, and some critical additions to become viable in long term.

And the desperation... I'm not even sure it's there. That would imply they actually care about the game. But this game produces a low amount of income compared to the other games developed by eRep Labs, so it's very likely a low priority to them.

I think they no longer offer company upgrade discounts because there's just too much currency and gold in the game, compared to the old days. This was inevitable, considering the design of the game. The TP medals are fixed at 100 million, and the strong players can easily take at least one every day, even if they don't have extra energy recovery. And the SH medals produce a lot of gold compared to the BH medals. And then there's the gold for the top 100 players in the weekly challenge.

Pair that with the packs "sold" by people who want currency, and you get a lot of damage and energy to spend. That requires a lot more campaigns, which started to happen "magically" since we got more recoverable energy. And the energy recovery is important, considering the overproduction has to be balanced somehow, especially with many people having abandoned the game, meaning there are less people to use the products. Plato keeps "fixing" the game in artificial ways, to compensate for the bad design and the long time neglect. That's how we roll, until the negative balance happens and Plato will show us the door.

You can't have a functional game if the economic and military modules are not functional, that was my point to begin with. And those are not small changes , nor will they ever happen. Plato is supremely incompetent , has always been so..
