Plan for America - Military Policy
Archibald
Welcome to the second of my articles detailing my plans for the presidency should i be elected. I am back from vacation and ready to continue outlining my plans. Today's topic concerns our military. In case you missed it, my first article, on general National Policy, can be found here:

Our military is facing a critical challenge. Our President and many of his top generals will be resigning from public service at the end of this month. This has the potential of creating a large vacuum at the top of our chain of command if we are unprepared. However, I am prepared to meet this challenge. I will work to maintain the current army structure as best as possible so that all the hard work that Dish and Esoom have done is not wasted. The objective will be to roll the current structure into the new system in a seamless transition.
My military plan involves a more centralized power structure initially. The army will be divided into three main branches. The first of these, the Reserves, will consist of people who cannot move from the USA and are tasked with defending American soil. The largest branch will consist of the Active Army. Finally, there will be a small Special Forces unit consisting of a few elite soldiers who perform missions critical to national security. The focus in all three branches will be on activity and cohesiveness. In my book, activity is more important than strength. Having soldiers you can count on is critically important to maintaining a strong fighting force.
Active Medic Program
Pearlswine has done a fantastic job managing our national gifting program. I believe the army should incorporate a similar program during war. I would like to utilize similar scripting routines to the ones Pearl uses to accomplish this. All of our soldiers who fight in battle will receive gifts, except for those who are at 10% because we don't want to gift-bomb our own soldiers. The soldiers will receive gifts each day to restore their wellness to pre-war levels. This will guarantee that wellness losses from fighting are only temporary and will provide an incentive to our citizens to participate in battles because they won't have much to lose.
An organized military is critical to maintaining our national security. ThisGenMedia and myself have worked hard to ensure a system is in place to prevent a drop-off in our military from the upcoming transition. We will announce the name of the new head of the army immediately upon election. The military pay program will also be maintained to bolster recruitment.
For a strong military, vote Archibald on August 1st!

If you\'re actively in war, you should get gifts every day to prevent gift-bombing. Also because it\'s 10 wellness
hmmm at the moment we are experiencing (i talk about elite soldiersin charlie division) a lack of organization...i costantly message my direct superior but rarely i have steady answers, i got no pay costaqntly (while others had so its only mis.-organization) everytime i must ask directly to the president to \"fix\" it..because the chain of command is bugged...costantly i repeat, not only once or twice...i receive no orders (i think that if i ask expressivley \"orders? after 4 or 5 days of silence at least someone should answer something...)...
i think much can be done to improve the situation, that is not critical, but buggy at most ! this is my humble thinking, after i had experience in other kind of armies this one lacks expressivley in the \"order\" of the command chain, the \"stability\" of common practices, such as week pay..., and in general seems lack organized ATM, not for fault of anyone, but it is...
i hope you don tread this as a bad criticism, but as a constructive one, to give you an insight...
@ TerenceHill
Well as a soldier in the US Military myself i know of your frustration and of our apparent lack of communication and the failures in the chain of Command.
These things, like you said, need to be changed, but we still have a godo military. I will say that I am not going to make such a disastrous and drastic change to our Military Structure, but simplify and strengthen the way our CoC flows and also how our military is ordered.
As for the actually article, i have to say its good stuff Archi, its simple, but its good.
I do have to point out that i feel a change that major in the structure of our military will do nothing, but cause greater confusion, and undo all the work we have put into our current military setup. That could very well cause many citizens to become lost in the transfer, and lose faith in our military.
The Medic Program is a nice idea, but slightly redundant considering having the DoD medic, and also considering most soldiers have gifting buddies as is.
I was a squad leader in Charlie for a while. Who were you under? Benn? CJ? I know that they were both good leaders
Good article Arch.
Just to point out, the DoD has a Medic program (which is Kevin and Benn when he has time if I remember), and the current setup is actually very similar (KPS for reserves, Regular Army, and Charlie).
@ emerick
under CJ first and now under Armydude.
Nothign to say about CJ he did the most he could to keep updated and informed the guys..but himself had very less support it seems \"above\" him...
Exactly Dish. I am proposing a setup that\'s not too different from the current one. The idea with the medic program is just to have it be more aggressive. I believe the current program requires you to PM the medic for wellness.
@TerenceHill
\"hmmm at the moment we are experiencing (i talk about elite soldiersin charlie division) a lack of organization...i costantly message my direct superior but rarely i have steady answers,\"
I answer your questions as best as I can. If you don\'t think you are getting it, tell me.
\"i got no pay costaqntly (while others had so its only mis.-organization) everytime i must ask directly to the president to \"fix\" it\"
You get payed every week. I make sure of that.
\"..because the chain of command is bugged...costantly i repeat, not only once or twice...i receive no orders (i think that if i ask expressivley \"orders? after 4 or 5 days of silence at least someone should answer something...)...\"
Maybe because I\'m not getting any? Be patient. I haven\'t gotten orders from the top for a week.
\".but himself had very less support it seems \"above\" him...\"
What do you mean?
For the record, we base our army on ACTIVITY first, strength second. 6.00 strength is no good if it\'s not used. Therefore, the first force is the \"every day\" group of active members, the second (Reserves) are either those who cannot move (will be seperated into squads) or who are not on every day. Finally the \"special forces\" are the mega force, only when completely necessary, and they\'ll be funded to fight a TON.
Glad to see that your campaign runs on such new and original ideas.

Ah, welcome back Uncle Sam. We missed you.
Speak for yourself Archibald 🙂
I have a question, do you plan on asking Congress to attack any nations with this reorganized army?
