I don't know where you get your information, but the wall isn't nearly done, and almost certainly never will be. And politicians generally do try to fulfill their promises, although I know it makes some people feel good thinking of themselves as superior -- especially morally superior -- to the people they elect.

I was attempting jocularity to make that very point. I live in "fly over" country, I'm well aware that I don't matter (pun intended). St. Louis & K.C. will soon learn they don't matter either.
