MANILA , Philippines — Today, a new political party is formed. PFF-The United Filipino Heroes, or officially known as Philippines for the Filipinos-The United Filipino Heroesis founded by Prince Terence I.
The party, though a successor party of the PFF, aims to be the heroes of the Philippines in this new era of our times.
Here is the new Agila inspired logo of the party:

But why?

Why. Hmmmm.
Though biggest, it is one of the parties that has low vote turn outs,low congressional seats and with low party activities.
The change within the party is symbolic. The name was changed but the PFF abbreviation was retained in order to remember its roots as a historical party.
Actually, all the parties are suffering from "low turnout". Actually, between the PFF and the NFP, your two parties (which is actually one party) got the most number of seats in Congress.
I believe that there are numerous ways to increase activity levels apart from changing names. PFF is a very historical name. It's got months of mileage behind it. It's certainly the oldest party there is here. IMHO, the name should be preserved. I hope you consider changing it back after the elections.
It's better to regain it's control than change it's name.
